Nielsen and Sir Rog would make a great comedy act, of the filmic persuasion.
I noticed those sometime ago. They do sound rather sexual don't they :))
I'm good but Lee Tamahori might need them
Looking at the end product of DAD he must have bought shares in Kleenex !!
Well, the SF scene in the shadows is meant to be an artistic moment. And I like it for how beautiful it is. I agree Craig has better fights if you're in for the sheer brutality of it.
Spot on FYEO.
AVTAK comes to mind.
If you’ve ever been borderline knocked out before and have some huge guy coming at you I bet you’d throw random things at him. I like how Craig is his own Bond. A lot of people say man Connery, Dalton or Brosnan would’ve never done that! Craig has his own unique style. I like that he’s not copying anyone.
Even better :))
Same with the plane sequence:
'Hmm maybe if I recklessly knock the wings off and crash into all the cars I'll save Madeline, kill all the bad guys and walk away unscathed. What could possibly go wrong with a plan based on 99.9% luck?'
It only lacks some Benny Hill music.
Oh yes! I find it hilarious!
Another classic is the "back stretch torture" at the health facility in the beginning of the film!
In general all scenes that are blatantly sped up are unintentilnally funny. Like when Tilly's car goes of the road in GF.
Yes!!! The sped up parts are definitely hilarious. It only adds to my enjoyment of the movies.
The question is: Was Bond's backhand too much for Largo that he had to sit down, or did Bond simply knock him back in his seat? :))
Exactly.
I think Hinx would have beaten the crap out of Connery,Dalton and Brosnan too.
If I had to choose 1 Bond to fight Hinx it would be CraigBond, and look what happened to him.
What makes it even more hilarious is that it's always the same shot. It looks like they are spinning around in a circle
I believe this will be fairly controversial, but I think Aris Kristatos was a fine villain in FYEO. He seems brutally out of place in the Moore era since his plot is entirely down-to-earth and realistic, and he comes across as effective. He doesn't have any of the usual lines that the Moore villains did, although he also didn't make the mistake of talking too much around Bond.
He does get that shitty scene where he threatens Jacoba Brink with "dealing with her", but he makes up for it with the keelhauling scene. I also liked the scene where he stood up to Kriegler. Also love how he casually strolled around when Krielger fought Bond and later abandoned the former in the monastery.
