    Aaah indeed,thats the reserves.

Farke and Fonkue ? sounds like a comedy double act !

    Adult movie producers!!! Lol!

I was going to say that but didn't want to get flagged by some 'billy-no-mates-' on here hahaha ;)

I think they may let me off as these are real people and also they probably feel sorry for me being a Norwich City fan! I lean heavily towards the latter?!!! Lol!

I see your point...and being an Arsenal fan ,i know how you feel.

Well we have had another frustrating 1st half tonight! Hoping the boys put this game to bed early come the 2nd half. Well? One can only hope!!

Not the worst game of Anderlecht at Bayern, but if you concede a penalty and get red-carded after 10 minutes in the Allianz Arena you're in for a rough night.

One ball against the post for Anderlecht early in the second half, but then the 2-0 fell and our slim chance at a result were gone for good. The 3-0 was made from an off side position but it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Very disappointed with that result tonight!

Some very interesting matches tonight. PSG, Barcelona and Chelsea looked strong, as did United. Watching the highlights, there wasn't any lack of goals in the matches played, either!

To be fair Chelsea played one of the worst teams in the competition and Utd played a distinctly average one. Good win for Barca and a decent but ultimately predictable win for PSG. Some interesting games ahead, but pretty standard thus far, I feel.

Have to correct myself. Meant to write decent - not strong. Here's what you get typing while watching post-match interviews! Still, some strong efforts tonight. Messi had a good game by the looks of it, and Cavani had a great header against Celtic.

I'll take a 6-0 win any day. No matter who the opposition is.
Great start to Chelsea's champion league campaign.

Worked late so just Watched United vs Basel on mutv, United strolled through the game as expected Jose will be happy in some respects with the games on the horizon. Just hope Pogba's injury is not too serious, it is good to be back in the Champions League

'Good' is an understatement. He singlehandedly won the game against one Europe's strongest defences. (Juventus were missing Chiellini though...)

Several players will as expected not be taking part in Arsenal's game against 1. FC Köln tomorrow. Anyone who can tell how good 1. FC Köln are? What can Arsenal expect?

At the same time Rosenborg will play Real Sociedad. Hopefully RBK can get a good result in Spain. Have to find a way to watch both games simultaneously.

Considering La Real's great form so far this season, I wouldn't be too hopefull... But then again I didn't think we had a chance against Ajax... and how wrong was I! I guess anything is possible, although Sociedad is a stronger test

I don't have any expectations really. Just hope the guys can keep up playing football the way they played against Ajax.

About to see Liverpool - Sevilla, mostly to keep an extra eye on the players on my Fantasy-team. Fun to see Jamie Carragher as a Champions League pundit for Norwegian Viasat, on the sideline with Jan Åge Fjørtoft.

I'm a Liverpool supporter, will support through thick and thin, but I just can't defend Lovren in any way after that goal.

    Liverpool looking good forward though.

Very true. Great going forward but extremely vulnerable at the back.

This match can go both ways for sure!

You're not the only one who can't defend ;)

Was doing the CL tourist thing at Wembley (decent fare to be err fair) so didn't see Liverpool.

I take it the Sevilla goals were down to Marx Brothers defending rather than being worldies?

We might scrape out of the group but first decent team we meet will do a Fritzl on us.

Shame there isn't some time during the season when you are allowed to bring in players to bolster you American beer weak defence. Kind of a window when you can make transfers. Could call it the 'transfer window' or something...?

I'm pretty sure they already have a similar system in place for wingers cos we bought loads of them; about time they had the same for defenders and goalkeepers.

Being objective this is not based on my natural hatred, Klopp not addressing your defence is suicide. Though to be honest it's totally consistent with Klopp philosophy

Today is Cologne's first match in the Euro leauge. And it's against Arsenal.

For those who do not know much about German football, for Cologne it is simply amazing. Their last match in the UEFA cup was in 1994.

They have developed very well during the last years but suffered from the loss of their best player (Anthony Modeste) who scored more then 25 goals the last season. They also did not start well this year by losing all their first three matches.

The only thing I know about Köln is that the Norwegian coach Ståle Solbakken had a disasterous spell there some years ago. Not the club's proudest moment Im sure :)

Köln used to be a big name in German football, pretty sure they played a European semi-final somewhere in the 70's or 80's, maybe even a final.

I like traditional football clubs, I hope they can restore some of their former glory.

It was the same story with Mönchengladbach but they've recently been quite good again.

yes Köln was the champion of the German Bundesliga three times. Twice in the 60s and in 1978. The had some of the best German players:

Wolfgang Overath (1960s and 1970s) who won the WC 74
Pierre Litbarski (1980s and early 1990s) winning the world cup 1990.
Thomas Hässler (WC 1990, EC 1996)
Bodo Ilgner (WC 1990, winning CL with Real Madrid 1998)
Harald Schumacher (best goal Keeper of WC 1986)
Lukas Podolski (having his best time in Köln, WC 2014, second most goals for Germany)
Currently, Jonas Hector is the best left-back in the German national team.

They have lost their opening 3 games and are bottom of the league at the moment.
Lets hope Arsenal don't embarrass themselves !!

I hear the Cologne fans are causing problems, storming a barricade and taunting the Arsenal fans...kick off now delayed until 21:05.

Everton had a rude awakening in Atalanta tonight. Koeman I would imagine would not be impressed.
