Not sure I can be arsed to stay up though.
And it's a penalty for the Dutch – and Robben scores!
And it's two for France, Griezmann and Giroud.
That over the hill coach we have let the man play until the end instead of giving him on the 90th minute a sub for the Public to honor them. Nobody expected 6 more goals in two minutes. The daft old fool had no sense of decency in the final game of his captain.
Brilliant player, sad he did not get to take part in one last World Cup.
He was ,but he wasn't liked much here in England,he did a lot of diving and cheating, and got a reputation for it.
- Jorge Sampaoli
Well said
Nope they were not snubbed but simply lost their game. When it comes down to one goal you are not being snubbed, you were just not good enough.
Exactly! There are some exciting new additions this time around with Iceland, Ireland, Panama and the winner of the play off between Peru and New Zealand.
Ireland,North or Republic arnt there yet Jobo !
Also either Australia or Honduras, once they have finished their play-off.
True. I was a bit to quick. Australia har been in the World Cup before. Maybe a new one could boost their interest in football even further.
Indeed, their fans were very colourful, all kitted out in yellow and green.
Shame we arnt going to be seeing the Dutch orange yet again.
Noth Ireland was in the World Cup in 1982 and 1986. So also no newcomers.
Edit: second group stage it was.
That is true, but he did score some memorable goals though.
An estimated 900 million will watch Liverpool v Man United on Saturday, that's insane. To put it in perspective the 2014 World Cup final had 1 Billion viewers.
Yes indeed to both of those comments !
Who can forget Cubillas' free kick against the jocks?
I guess it's schadenfreude. People want to see Jurgen's naivety laid brutally bare by a manager who knows what he's doing.
I think it could be a tough game for United, though I'll happily enjoy Klopp flop in front of the Kop if it should happen.
