WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the bottling scum have lost ANOTHER FA Cup semi-final,i love it !!!

What a pathetic football club, just look at their history hahaha.
So speaks the voice of the modern Arsenal fan....

To be fair though they are bottlers and there's only so much longer people can keep saying 'Pocc is one of the most exciting young managers and Spurs are an up and coming young team.'

When it matters they haven't got it. The CL they were the better side but went out when they shouldn't have and here better side in the first half but Utd and Jose's nous and game management proved fatal in the end.

Any fan of any football club will cheer the failings of ones rivals, though. I also enjoy every game Molde lose, as I'm also a Rosenborg fan.

I thought Brann was your arch enemy?

Rosenborg vs Brann is a derby, yes, but Molde is the main rival.

Yeah but not to the point of obsession. But then I suppose when you've been supping Wenger's thin gruel for 10 years slagging off Spurs is all you have?

They're not even a serious rival for Christ's sake but to hear Arsenal fans speak you'd think they were going toe to toe with them for the top trophies. I find it rather bizarre why Arsenal fans are so obsessed with them to be honest. Do Liverpool fans even take note of anything Everton do? Apart from twice a season they're largely an irrelevance.

Even Man Utd fans don't obsess about City as much and they are a serious rival.

You should chill out and treat Spurs with a mixture of derision and pity, which are far more hurtful.

I don't know about @barryt007, but in my experience the obsession about the failings of the rival is just as strong with the Tottenham fans I know, as with the Arsenal fans. If Liverpool fans see Everton as an irrelevance, that's between your clubs, isn't it? Rivalries are different, after all.

Not really. Brann are never performing at a good enough level for there to be a proper rivalry...

    Similar to Spurs.

Perhaps Arsenal have lowered their game in recent years just to spice up the rivalry?

Wouldn't characterize them as similar. Spurs and Arsenal are city rivals for one, Brann and Rosenborg are two clubs in different parts of the country, and that's about it.

The Molde rivalry is a strong one, at least in recent years. While Rosenborg is a club that's grown because of results in the league and in Europe, Molde is a club that wouldn't been where they are without the backing of their rich 'uncles'.

Forrest have equalized against Cardiff away. The promotion battle lives!
Uhm… quick question: Has Neil Warnock ever had plastic surgery? He looks so odd sometimes.

Aron Gunnarsson, too! Another Icelandic nightmare for the elite of English football next season?

Never thought I'd have to google images of Warnock, but it sure looks like botox. Has he ever had eyebrows, though?

Not sure about eyebrows but no amount of botox could change that big mouth of his haha.

I've thought that for a few years now. He's definitely had his teeth done but certainly seems to be on the verge of going full on Shane Warne soon.

Now, that's true! 2-1 it is. Everything to play for in the remaining matches. Cardiff have the edge over Fulham though, with one more game to play.

There are so many big teams in the Championship, such a tough tough league..no wonder so many PL teams are worried about dropping into it and never coming out again for many years ,eg Sunderland this year :- last season PL,next season L1...destroyed by the Championship.

Just saw him doing the handshake with Aitor Karanka. Made me think of me of Silvio Berlusconi. Not that bad, of course, but still very off looking. Managers and players having their teeth done is probably more normal, though. Klopp must have had work done on his smile, too?

Makes you wonder what will happen with Stoke and WBA (and most likely Southampton). Can't see them doing a Sunderland, but some players surely have relegation clauses making them very likely to join other clubs, etc.

Probably the best game we have played in 2018, maybe all season! Which prompts the question why we saved it for the Copa del Rey and not the Champions League? A nice consolation, although that abysmal Rome debacle will taint this season for ever...

Barca has had a good season anyway, though - with both the league and the cup?
    Iniesta leaving? Didn't know that.

Of course it has been a good season! But it is frustrating thinking of what could have been... Chasing the Copa and the unbeaten record in the League left the team exhausted for the essential CL matches this spring. It is nice winning the CDR for a fourth consecutive time, but I would claim on all accations the maraton it is to play so many matches in the new year (in Spain all ties have home and away games) hampered our form in the latter stages of the season. I don't want is to become the Copa del Rey team. I would actually prefer if we get knocked out early next year and focus on the Champions League, hopefully peaking top form at the right moment for once which has been Real Madrid's recipe for succes the last couple of seasons.

But next season looks promising. Both Griezmann and the very promising midfielder Arthur Melo will likely arive, and Coutinho and Dembele will finally be fully integrated. Messi deserves more CL titles before he quits. (So did Don Andres, sadly...)

Hitting form at the right time seems the crucial element. A bit out of form, and you don't stand a chance - at that stage of the CL at least. Does Barca always go for a best possible starting eleven in the cup competitions, or do they field a team of youngsters and squad players?

How likely is Griezmann to join Barca next season? Seems to be linked with many teams.

That may be one of the factors behind Barca's season in the CL, then. The English teams usually field weaker starting elevens for as long as possible. Spurs even used their second goalkeeper against United yesterday!

There has no doubt been a problem with fatigue this spring. It was visible already against Chelsea. At that point I wasn't too concerned because I thought they would be able to save up for a new form top in late spring. But they kept on not resting key players. One of the advantages of signing Coutinho was presumably that he would help giving Iniesta a rest in the league. But Andres still kept on playing most league games. Piqué kept on playing regular 90 minutes although he was half injured, so did Messi and Suarez.

I don't blame Valverde too much. He has never managed a club of such stature before and I think the unbeaten record in the League mattered quite a lot to him. It was telling that when the record was finally in the bag after the win against Valencia last weekend, he finally had the courage to rotate almost the entire eleven this midweek, even though it was a potentially very tricky away game against Celta. The result of that was a fantastic display yesterday! The experience from this season should help him. Next year the rotation policy has to be better.

Have Coutinho played much at all after signing for Barca? Haven't heard his name mentioned at all after he left Liverpool.

Why has the unbeaten record in the league mattered so much for Valverde? Point to prove?
