Meanwhile in Belgium a big matchfixing scandal seems to be on hand. Among the people who were arrested for questioning were the current head coach of Club Bruges, a former board member of Anderlecht, two referees and two influential agents. To be continued, no doubt.

Should be surprised about news like this, but sadly it's a part of football – not only in the major leagues. It will be interesting to follow the developments of this story.

Croatia v England was not great, Rashford was wasteful, though Sancho certainly is a good prospect.

That's the guy who's doing well in Germany, isn't it?

That's right I think he is only 18.

Lukaku got a brace tonight, I have been debating whether to transfer him I'll stick with him for now. I may dump Kane so I can bring in Hazard

Interesting to see an English player deciding to play in the Bundesliga. Can't be many of them in Germany. Reiss Nelson (on loan from Arsenal to Hoffenheim) is the only one I can think of, other than Sancho.

Might work out fine. Hazard is in good form, and Kane isn't. How did he play against Croatia?

He hit the bar, which counts as half a goal.

Did he do much else than hitting the bar? Was he involved in the game much, or did he look a bit tired, like he's looked recently? Obviously only asking for my Fantasy team – it's difficult enough having the guy in the team as an Arsenal fan…

Or you could just relax, watch football and enjoy? Not bother with this fantasy thing? ;)

But I realize the PL can boring in itself so that you need to spice it up somehow... er don't have that problem in Spain ;))

I play in a mini league where money is at stake, so having him in the team (at least last weekend when Sp*rs played Cardiff) was purely to block points from my mini league rivals in case he found form against the weakest side in the league :-D

There is a La Liga fantasy game too, I see!

It is certainly an achievement for England.

But the match stats of 20-4 in shots (10-4 om goal) 12-0 om corners and 66-34% posession tells me there was a great deal of luck involved...

I just filled out this form on the BBC Football website, from the choices they gave :

    best-eng-perf-dcc6d05df7583ad14989478368a576fc.jpg

It's the best England performance from year 2000 plus .

    And breaking news :

Jose Mourinho has been charged by the Football Association over comments he made in Portuguese to a television camera after Manchester United's game against Newcastle United on 6 October.

The FA alleges the 55-year-old used "abusive, insulting or improper language" following United's 3-2 comeback win at Old Trafford.

He has until 18:00 BST on 19 October to respond to the charge.
