That's my worry too. I think by saying Arsenal being Arsenal, you mean Arsenal becoming their own enemy...like making mistakes, conceding a penalty or having a player sent-off.

Yeah, @007InAction. I think even the whole world knows that going forward has never been Arsenal's problem. It's the OBVIOUS we have been crying for, for over a decade and more.
Exactly. And given what's at stake, they should be. But so will Chelsea; it will be a great way to end the season for them, and for Lampard it will be a statement.
Yeah, true. Both teams have a reason to go for it. But if am being honest, am not really that hungry to win the FA cup, compared to when our trophy drought was lengthy back then. Am so worried about how Arsenal fare in the transfer market, ahead of next season. Even if Arsenal lose today, Arteta has shown so much promise that would only be perfected if the club supports him financially.

It looks like the FA Cup might be a factor in how Arsenal will be able to compete in the transfer market, so winning it is no doubt very important. The club will obviously prepare for either outcome, but the transfer window will be less exciting without a cup title, I think…

Yeah, I guess you could say that. A win further sends a message to players around the world, who are yet to sign for Arsenal....telling them Arsenal's ship is steering towards the best shores. I guess this should be the main reason to win the FA Cup.
Potentially. If he don't sign a new contract (he's likely waiting to see if there will be European football for the team next season or not), they are left with no option but to sell him, I think. They can't afford to replace him if he runs down his contract.
It's as much about the project as the silverware in this case, IMO. It also sends a message to the players that are already there, as to where the club's at.
Yep, Arsenal seem to be playing better, only after conceding....then again, Chelsea never needed to play well to win matches.
