I hope we get to see some more of Atletico's famed cynisism in the second half. Real Madrid are only really dangerous on the brake, and they got too much space in the first half. Every resource, even buses, are allowed when your opponent represent all that's evil in the world!

I do hope we get to see Real score a goal and we get some fireworks. So far Atletico does deserve winning the match.

And I do hope we get to see Costa eventually...

But that being said, his replacement Adrian Lopez has been imppressive so far...

    Yeah 1-1

Wow. Real and Bale off the hook (for now at least).

Good to see Ronaldo performing on the big stage yet again....

Still Real did most of the footballing the second half, and they did try a lot of times.

As is Ronaldo. Over £150 mil between them and it takes a centre half to save their asses.

As much as I want Atletico to win, they did deserve to concede there. This really does show that you do get punished for parking the bus. Maybe now they'll get a kick up the ass in the second half of extra time.

Im sorry i just hate Simeone sooooo much....i dont want EITHER of them to win,but i will go with Real now, just to shut his whinging mouth...

Bale's won it with a tap in! ;-) Bet he's relieved after all the chances he's missed tonight.

Gareth Bale at least does offer value for his salary. Excellent action and goal by the way.

Is that offering value for ones salary? Excellent action?

And it is over for Atletico, and on the basis of actual football Real Madrid really deserves it.

Well, I'm not surprised. It seemed destined from the start that this would be a bad year for football... A year where astronomical spending and cynical football triumphs. Thrilling... Hopefully the World Cup will make up for this travesty...

Ronaldo always has to make it about him though doesn't he!

Yeah, but too be fair he really made all the difference tonight, didn't he...

I hate the fact that Real Madrid have won, but Atletico have deserved this: poor control, terrible in the air, slow on and off the ball, passing wayward all game, didn't even try to attack, parked the bus, a thoroughly deserved loss, but not what I wanted to happen. It has been a capitulation of epic proportions.

Still, it's good to see Simeone go into meltdown, the twat.

Bet David Beckham has a wry smile on his face wherever he's watching this...

And Ronaldo did his duty, I do hope he will do his magic in Brasil.

ANd to be honest Real Madrid did crush Atletico from the 2nd half up.

And the behaviour of those Atletico players show that they do not belong on this level, what a bloody disgrace.

Well that's another reason to show why i hate Simeone........need i say more ?

Little late to the party, but I'm glad Real won. Even though I'm a Real Madrid fan, I would've been fine with the underdog winning, but MAN were Athletico playing dirty. They didn't deserve the title playing like that.
Although I was shocked that Ramos of all people saved the day. Again.

flair won over attrition, big loss to Athletico losing Costa though may have made more sense to bring him on later rather than starting with him due to his fitness. Being a Man Utd supporter happy for Ronaldo, great stage for Bale also his pace is frightening.

Really feel for Derby but being a Norwich fan you can have all the possession in the world but if you don't take atleast one opportunity then this risk is always possible. Congrats to QPR and obviously Real Madrid on the wins! =D>

Long story short- Mr Brendan Rodgers was in the town of Reading today. A friend said to him how it was good that Suarez had bitten chillieni ( I didn't see the logic either ) because it would put off potential suitors from signing our controversial Uruguayan. " when Barca want a player they usually get the player" was Brendans response. Straight from the horses managers mouth. So it seems Suarez may well be off.
Mr Rodgers also strolls around reading town centre in flip flops, what a guy.

Interesting, think he was gone possibly weeks ago. Brenda probably happy to get rid after recent events.

Did seem a little like that tbh, he was very serious looking and sounding when he said it .

Undoubtedly Suerez is a footballing genius, obviously has issues. The press in England certainly Will not let up after recent events, a move away probably best for both parties. If they get 70 million for him not bad going, though i suspect his recent antics could effect his value.

So frustrating though because Suarez is worth more on footballing ability than Gareth bale its just a shame he's an absolute loon!

Watched a interview with Suerez earlier, admittedly translated, though appears he sees nothing wrong with what he has done. if i bit a fellow co worker i would be sacked, be interesting to see how FIFA respond. According to FIFA mandate could be a 2 year world wide ban as maximum punishment.
