Sausage rolls would be more appropriate for this time of year, my friend.

I will argue that it might be easier to construct a hat shape with chocolate than with sausage rolls ;)
I like (or liked) the Bourne films but they are no match for Mr. James Bond.
No doubt this will be devastating news for the Zekidk and Getafix Show...... :D
And a little bird told me their celebrity guest tonight is Matt Damon! What a coincidence.

So - they can even still beat TL.
Pitt taking just proves, that there is no such thing as a BO garant anymore. If people don't like the movie, they won't go see it, never mind WHO is in it.
It is interesting to see what has happened through the years after James Bond found its way to cinema audiences. TV-series were created, like 'Mission: Impossible', 'Get Smart', 'Starsky & Hutch', 'The A-Team', 'I Spy', that were later turned into movies again. These series usually had a similar premise to the James Bond films: Save the world from crazy figures.
Later movies, like the rebooted Batman films, were hugely influenced by James Bond, to such an extend that the actual superhero looked, walked, drove....lived like a possible James Bond. Summarizing: James Bond is one hell of an inspiring person ;-).
And with 'Skyfall', James Bond keeps inspiring and stays the biggest spy franchise of the planet. The movie has passed the 800 million Dollars now. Samuel001? Where is your List of inflation adjusted Bond films ;-)? *UPDATED SATURDAY DECEMBER 1ST 2012*:

Sorry but is your list saying that no Bond pre TLD made over a million?
I've honestly never heard of Michel Vaillant but I'm fairly confident that even the Belgian grosses of the average Bond film would be enough to decimate its laughable 900k. Or does this list not go back further than 1987?
No, the list goes back till 1987...no further! I kinda want to make the financial comparison realistic by not going back too much into time. That's why all Bond films prior to 1987 are not mentioned.
Also, you can see it includes all other most recent spy/action/hero franchise films.
I should have mentioned that. Sorry ;-).
In My list? I think 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Minimum $250 million. Otherwise, check this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_films
Not exactly, friend. Actually, I've meant in general. Because i'd like to know which movie is the leader of the budget since its release.
See above :-).
And which is the movie with the biggest box office ever?
So Us final gross my prediction low end = $270 mil
International gross low end= $ 690 mil
Total around low end $960 mil WW
Could still pass a billion very easily these are the lowest i think it will make now.
Avengers I think.
Avatar $2.7 billion w.w
EDIT: No, just googled it, it's Avatar.
1. Avatar $2.7 billion
2. Titanic $2.15 billion
3. Avengers $1.5 billion
4. harry potter 8 $ 1.3 billion
5. Transformers 3 $ 1.123 billion
6. Lord of the rings 3 $1.119 billion
7.The dark knight rises $1.08 billion
8.Pirates 2 $1.066 billion
9. Toy story 3 $1.063 billion
10. Pirates 4 $1.043 billion
Skyfall has and outside chance of breaking into this list.
Would someday a Bond movie surpass the 3 billion?
What when will a bond pass $3 billion? maybe in 30 years due to inflation or like Avatar or Titanic it becomes a must see film for everyone everywhere due to effects normally. Avatar was driven by it's must see effects so was Jurassic park back in the 90s when it was the highest grossing film as was the original Star Wars.
Guys, let's be realistic. Babs Broccoli and Michael know now damn well that the complete 'Bond upgrade' in 'Skyfall' set new standards. It makes it a lot easier for Bond 24 to pass the $ 1 Billion if you ask me. In a similar way like with 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
From 'Skyfall' and onwards it'll be much easier to bring, again, huge Oscar starcasts and Oscar starcrews on board. Ralph Fiennes is back for sure. But I wanna bet that a possible Blofeld will be as good as Bardem's Silva, if it's being played by Daniel Day Lewis or Christoph Waltz.
Furthermore, Christopher Nolan's Batman is finished. Within the genre of spy/action/hero movies, Bond is on top again.
Also, taking in account inflation in 2014/2015, Bond 24 will top 'Skyfall' easily IF Babs and Michael continue the same way as they did with 'Skyfall'.
