Yes they filmed there

Yes, I imagine that's very stressful and quite a handful too.
I've been to Blenheim Palace where they filmed for Spectre, and Epsom race course which doubled for St Petersburg airport in GE as well all the London landmarks.

How could they have done that if Bond hadnt arrived there at that point? He was still on the train.
Thats quite a common thing in nearly all movies which feature a ticking timer, as in the edit doesnt stick to the time mentioned. Id have to check but Im sure the 3 minute timers in Goldeneye and Spectre take up far more screen time.
But they clearly say they've tracked him to a specific point, even though Bond and Swann aren't even remotely close to the crater, so there's no possible way of them knowing that's where he's headed. I'd chalk it up to a plot hole.
The time taken between Oberhauser pressing the button and the timer expiring is 3:29 in the film, so Bond and Madeliene would have been blown up when they hit the nets.
That's not bad by previous standards.
The GF one is awful - probably around 5 minutes over if you times it properly.
TSWLM - two nuclear subs blown up and a high body count in the battle between the crews and Stromberg men.
Given the average sub crew is around 120 I would have both these films comfortably passing the 200 mark (assuming Stromberg had the subs put to sea with a full complement).
DAD - Icarus cuts a huge swathe through the DMZ which has thousands of troops stationed so could have got up to the several hundred mark.
SP - Do we see the figures involved in the Cape Town attack?
And on that point - are we to presume that the Mexico City bomb was to get Mexico onboard? If that's the case given the Mexico City attack was foiled what made the Mexicans sign up to Nine Eyes? Or was the destruction of a block in the middle of a carnival deemed enough?
And who are these 9 countries exactly? If the likes of South Africa are invited there must be some big name absences.
The only confirmed countries I can recall are UK, South Africa, Germany and presumably Japan as the conference is held in Tokyo.
Is this something that second tier countries are doing and USA, China and Russia aren't involved in?
