This warms my heart. I wish more people were like you and would care about older pets that lead a sad life in shelters.

He was the oldest cat there, and not much chance of adoption for kids & such. He'll have a happy sunset.

I used to be a really self conscious young adult. I weighed a lot despite playing a lot of sport and not eating all that much. I was just a naturally big guy. Anyway, I was sick for a number of years and the weight seemed to fall away from me. I went from 15 stone to weighing less than 10. I always felt a bit out of place in a gym but I took a chance earlier this year and joined up. A friend of mine recommended I take up powerlifting as he thought I had good natural body strength. I was initially reluctant but faced my fears. Soon enough I was training a few times a week having caught the bug for the wonderful feeling it brings.

Now I'm training 5 nights a week, I'm lifting 200kg and I'm representing my country in Italy next month.

I look a lot better and more importantly I feel amazing! Just a small story for anyone who feels that they can't or don't have any business doing something.

I don't care for animal abusers. I can deal with people getting killed in movies, but I hate animals getting killed. Like John Wick's puppy or Dan's cat in TGWTDT. Very difficult for me to watch.

Very positive patience and consistency go a long way, and just simply starting to train is half the journey. I weight train my self though my back makes dead lifting problematic, good luck with your
    Competition.

I know what you mean. It's often the most upsetting part of a movie if it occurs; one that really makes me upset is in Dances with Wolves when Two Socks is shot and killed. Awful. I just recently started donating to ASPCA, because this has become a passionate issue for me as well.

Good job @chrisisall That is a swell thing to do, adopting an old cat, that needs a home!

I took in what I thought was a stray for two days. It turned up on the doorstep two mornings in a row. I fed it. Let it sleep in the house, and then never saw it again.
I think it had a home though. I think it had been out all night, and was seeking refuge from the local boss cat, who was also hanging around both mornings when I let it in.
    Cats are very territorial.

  • This is a scene from a home-made Bond movie my friends and I were trying to make when we were yonder. In the movie, I was going to play James Bond, but because we only had so many people, i play the guard who gets stabbed in this quick scene. I know this is out of context, but its still a great attempt at a Blofeld scene, and I'm really proud of the way the music goes along with the action. I lifted it all from CR. Let me know what you guys think!

Thank you @jake24, @BMW_with_missilesBMW_with_missiles! This was supposed to be the scene after the title sequence, and in the PTS, Bond (me) would attempt to break-up the sale of a suitcase bomb between "rogue Russians" and "Terrorists". Bond would succeed in spectacular fashion, only to be duped in the end by a third party: the SPECTRE agent you see in the above scene demanding more payment. In hindsight, I wish we had made fake money, or fake barrier bonds to be the thing he got payed with, because it looks like he's being payed $80 for a crazy covert mission, that has always been my least favorite part...

One photo had a black long sleeve that looked blue, but you do have a point. ;)

I probably look best in blue, objectively speaking, as the color tends to bring out brown hair (and brown eyes like mine) extremely well. This is partially why Sean's Bond looks so good in blue; he's got brown hair and eyes that pop against a blue suit and navy tie, as he wears in Thunderball and You Only Live Twice. Dan also pulls this off, because the blue suits he wears pop his beautiful eyes.

@BondJasonBond006, Sean always looked nice. It's no secret that his work in Goldfinger alone made me question everything I knew about my sexuality when I first watched it. Even still, 60s Sean Connery is my end-all, be-all "man crush."
