Halle Berry doesn't even look that good though. No where near what we have seen.
#1 Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981)
#2 The Temple Of Doom (1984)
#3 The Last Crusade (1989)
#4 Die Another Day (2002)
#5 The Crystal Skull (2008)
(I didn't like Jones IV at all, Die Another Day is pretty dire, but at least it is still Bond, I don't have the same level of affection for Indiana Jones)
I quite liked Predator 2. I agree about Jaws though, it's one of the worst films I've ever seen.
Also, Julian Glover was in The Last Crusade, John Rhys Davies in Raiders, and of course the small matter of Connery in the Last Crusade also. Alison Doody (Flex in AVTAK) also featured, so these Bond guys and girls do get around
I liked the Danny Glover character but the movie was trying too hard and it just did not feel right in that "urban jungle" setting.
I agree to an extent. I always gave Stephen Hopkins credit for daring to be so different from the original, but it didn't quite work until the last half hour, which is pretty amazing in my opinion. I also didn't see the point in setting it in 1997 as opposed to 1990, except to maybe play up the gang-war aspect.
U serious?! That is (positively) shocking.
there are many 'classic/cult' movies I've never seen.... that I am meaning to watch soon :)
I also have to watch the Godfather trilogy, the Alien films.......
( I think my credibility has just gone down the drain........ :(( )
Watch Alien!
YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE GODFATHER TRILOGY?!?!?!? How can you call yourself a movie goer if you haven't seen The Godfather Trilogy?
well I need to get in the mood to watch a near 3 hour film. but yes I know I am missing out on something amazing, so I'll be sure to watch them soon !!
Nah, don´t worry, it´s down there were you last left it ;)
Just kidding of course DC007. Seriously now, I actually envy you in a way: you have many great film hours ahead of you. Enjoy my friend.
You can skip the third one. You won't miss anything.
Wasn't this about Indiana Jones and Died another Day though ? :-/
The Phantom Menace, is in my view easily the best of the three prequels. The 2nd an 3rd turned Darth Vader into a snivelling little sh#t, which is unforgivable. The first episode is almost a story on its own with some frigging brilliant actionscenes brilliantly edited. Yes Jar Jar Binks is annoyin but so is C3PO in SW 4.
Indian Jones 4, with Harrison as Indy they did change periods from WWII to the '50's when the scifi movies were kinda cheesy. They tried to tap into the paranoia of that time with the nuclear weapon and the Russians which was very nicely done imho. In fact I quite enjoy this movie and it does deliver a hoot. Once again some people seem to complain about the ridiculous and Transformer boy. Overal it was a nice actioner with an ending that said that hat still belonged to Jones Sr.
I debate that. I felt that The Godfather Part III, while it had its shortcomings, was an excellent end to the Michael Corleone saga. The film had many moments that rivaled the first two films in their sheer emotion and power.
Oh, and I still think Indy wins. Pointless film but I can enjoy it. Although I haven't seen Star Wars so I can't fairly judge.
A wise decision. The first two have their moments but frankly I mainly find them dull.
