Besides Uncharted they are developing the soon to be released The Last of Us and got their name while making the Jak and Daxter titles.

Nah, they got their name developing Crash Bandicoot.

Bestheda Studios would make a decent Bond game imo. Especially if they used the engine that the Elder Scrolls games use.

Bond game with mutiple side missions and one main quest

    And tons of glitches. ;))

If a TSWLM game was made it would have to be 3rd person , also containing driving levels. It should not just be just another shooter , I just hope MGM make the right desicion and give the licence to a worthy developer

I posted this in the "2013 Bond Game" thread a couple of weeks ago:
Here's what the next Bond game has to do:

We'll start at the beginning, Casino Royale. Not the film, the novel. It'll start off with Bond in the casino, playing some baccarat and other card games. The player will take control after the opening cutscene showing Bond watching Le Chiffre, they'll go around and play some card games, then after they accumulate some money, they can pay random people off to watch Le Chiffre. Edit: At the same time, Le Chiffre may or may not be paying off people to watch Bond, so there will need to be some sort of trust system in place. The player may not actually accumulate any information from Le Chiffre, depending on who's paid off.

The player will have the full run of the casino, can visit different floors, go to the hotel rooms, do everything in it that one can do in a real 50s casino. The plot of the game will closely follow the plot of the book, with a little leg room for gameplay. No arbitrary "gunfights for the sake of gunfights" like in Quantum of Solace or From Russia With Love. When Bond isn't playing games in the casino, he can sneak around, finding evidence linking Le Chiffre to his crimes and such.

There will be moments when he can listen in on Le Chiffre having conversations in his hotel room, and the like - real spy work, not the usual "sneak up, listen in, start shooting" like in most games. You can bug his phone, bug his walls, use Mathis to run errands, like finding ammunition (every now and then, a trigger has to be pulled) or retrieving information. You'll be able to do most of these things at any time (per story requirements), and the story will progress in the game as it does in the novel, not much more (maybe a little padding for the empty parts of the novel, but that's about it) and certainly no less.

They need to do this for every book in the series (up to Fleming, continuation authors would come if the idea becomes successful), plus or minus the short story collections (they'd be PSN/XBLA/WiiWare games, maybe), so that we get true adaptations of the novels. Base the characters' looks on their descriptions in the novels, not on the voice actors playing them, and then get voices who embody the characters.

Well, that's my idea. How's it sound?

Definetly. I doubt anybody (even Activision) would make a TSWLM game without a level driving the Lotus (and a ski chase level too, another iconic moment they couldn't get away with taking out).

I think they've learned their lesson after Activision and they'll now pick a developer who will care for the licence. It gives us a better product and gives them more money, it's a win win.

I don't think they'll swap one crap developer for another. They should make sure that the licence will be handled with care and effort.

Whisper it quietly, but they rose to prominence with the amazingly awful Way Of The Warrior on 3DO. They've come a LONG way since then!

And I still vote for DICE to do it in a first person style but using a similar movement to Mirror's Edge.

It's the only thing that would make me truly happy. I'd love the complete Moore tenure in game form, complete with score and original production design. Never going to happen, but I could die a happy man.

I would welcome that idea. I prefer to have new stories/games that act like new installments of the movies, but let's be honest, every attempt at that is mediocre at best. If they could go back and begin doing the Fleming novels, even better with Fleming's Bond, that would probably be ideal. We'd get to revisit some of our favorite villains and moments, but since the adaptions to the movies are so different the stories would be new to the player. I LOVE this idea, only if we could get it into the proper hands.

I'd like the Dalton films done first but plenty of Moore's era could make a brilliant video game.

It'd be brilliant playing through the duel with Scaramanga or being able to drive the Lotus through the entire chase (land and sea).

Well It seems more likely that Ubisoft could take over , if so they'll probably do a past bond film or an original story and next year we can look forward to the Bond 24 game (hopefully)

Still definitely banging the drum for Ubisoft. Honestly I'd be fine with anyone except SEGA as every single Marvel game they've made has been absolute crap. Capcom is also not my ideal choice but I'd accept it going there

As long as we get a game that is better than the last few we got from Activision I will be happy , and please something better than just an average shooter , something along the lines of Eido's Hitman or Ubisofts Assassins Creed and driving missions are essential

I still hear people that FP Bond games , I am completly against that , Bond shouldn't just be running around a map shooting random baddies. There should be more meaning , more stealth(actual spywork),less badguys(some with guns some unarmed)so we have the chance get into a actual brawl
The driving missions need to be more than just blowing up stuff , mabye getting to a cetain in time , escaping in random car with no weapons and following someone from a distance without been detected or losing track of them , there should be more gadjets(realistic)mabye the laser watch and the Q-spider (but instead of blowing up , on stealth missions it should silently disconnect power boxes.ect. And should be used to silently scout ahead of you

I think if any publisher had a interest in acquiring the right it would be EA, due to the 4+ games they could hd. the hd provides a possibility for development time and revenue to be put towards a future game.

It would seem that after the success of Skyfall and the evolution of video games leaves bond in a funny situation. it seems obvious the last decent attempt of a bond game was bloodstone yet it was not a direction activision was willing to commit to. with games such as Mad max arkham series and the amazing looking mgs5 what hope does bond have at receiving a proper development.

from what i see ubisoft seems content with developing splintercell and far cry, both there own ip and rendering picking up the bond ip worthless.
konami has mgs which i doubt they would be willing to put bond before.
activision just lost the ball so it wont be them for some time.
square - has thief and hitman, what use would they have for bond?

I know its frowned upon to post links to other forums but according to a poster on CBN

    http://debrief.commanderbond.net/topic/63766-the-next-bond-videogame

"A facebook page called 'The Unofficial James Bond Fan Club' published the following fact a few hours ago :

Bond Rumor: James Bond will return to the video game world in October 2015 with a new game. The publisher is currently unknown but it is rumored to be based off of Bond 24. Current publishers rumored are Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Sony of America.

I found nowhere an article about this. Who knows ?"

This Is unsurprising (annoying to as I was hoping for a new original Craig Bond Game in 2014 however if it is Ubisoft and it is Stealth and awesome then I am ok!

Interesting news, if true. Personally, I'm not bothered about the long wait- I've still yet to play Bloodstone and Legends. Despite what the majority say about the latter, I want to make up my own mind.

So what would you guys prefer? A game which reflects Bond24, a stand-alone story, or a story which follows one of the older films?

This could be guessed and written as fact by anyone but it does seem likely to me. This amount of time to work on a game would also be a big benefit.

A game that expands on and includes nearly every aspect of the new film could be very good, think The World Is Not Enough on N64. Hopefully 20 levels at least, or even 24. ;)
