The brand new guess the character

saunderssaunders Living in a world of avarice and deceit

I don't know who started this topic on the old forum but it has always been one of my favourites and I thought we should restart it here, for any new members struggling with the complexity of the confusing title, it's actually very easy to play you just have to guess from the clues who the film character is, they can be either a major or minor character but must of appeared in the EON franchise, if you guess correctly you get to choose the next character. I think we should go along the lines of adding an additional clue every 24 hours to stop the thread/topic/discussion or whatever we call these blasted things nowadays, from drying up.

Here goes a fairly easy one to get the ball rolling:

A very lovely character...once you get through their icy exterior

I'm Neo from the Matrix, without the offspring.
I'm a famous blind Italian tenor, but without the last name.

And we all know what happened to poor Goodnight...

Wai Lin? She escapes from Carver's printing works, his Vietnamese tower block, a underwater missile hold, Bond's handcuffs and from the prospect of getting trapped behind a news desk by Carver.

Is it meant to be 'damp' good at escaping or 'damn' good at escaping ?
