  The clues would suggest it's someone from Diamonds are Forever. I went in the end with Dr Metz, although no surprise if incorrect this time

  Just read this thread for the first time and found the clues for this one. I'd guess it's Bob Connelly from AVTAK, based on him being a crude (oil) guy and Bond taking something on their first meeting (a photo with his ring camera).

  I presume the vegetable is Monsieur Aubergine, but I can't remember the conversation with him well enough to put the rest together. If he'd checked the background to the 'papillon' performance he might have seen Mayday about to bump him off - is that relevant? Can't get it to connect to Bob Connelly though!
