That's amusing because my next clue was going to be something along the lines of "You need to be philosophical and think both inside and outside the box", in the hope that somebody would think of Schrodinger.
Explanations:
1. Omnipresent, taciturn and... hungry?
He's always there, never speaks and is fed at least twice.
2. If I hadn't fled I'd be dead, but my sixth sense told me something was amiss. Gertrude looking after me from above, perhaps?
In FYEO when Bond disconnects the helicopter remote control wires the cat somehow knows something is wrong. Cats are often thought of as having extra-sensory abilities and St. Gertrude is the patron saint of cats.
3. I watched others' deaths with inhuman indifference.
The cat witnesses the executions of Kronsteen, Helga Brandt, Osata, etc... and is not human.
4. Despite many impostors there's only one of me. I don't appreciate competition!
A reference to the "wrong pussy" scene and the cat chasing away the impostor Blofeld's other cat.
5. From the title, you might have wondered if I was going to appear again in the next film.
Last seen in FYEO but there are no pussy cats in Octopussy.
6. Lupe can keep her iguana - I'll be wearing the real thing forever.
Lupe jokes that "iguanas are a girl's best friend" while wearing a diamond bracelet. In DAF the cat is wearing a diamond collar, with "forever" being an extra clue word.
7. He was just a small fish in a big pond, but his death was a particularly unpleasant and humiliating one.
As Blofeld expresses his desire for this death to happen to Bond in FRWL, he feeds the cat the last of the Siamese fighting fish from his tank.
