It could have different meanings depending on your point of view. He destroys many beautiful artifacts in the museum. It could even be Corinne or Bond for that matter.

I was referring to Corinne here. Since dogs are a man's best friend and diamonds are a girl's best friend then maybe he wouldn't have unleashed the hounds on her.
