    That's the sound of the ping pong ball being swatted back to @pachazo, who has saved me the trouble of putting together an incorrect guess list. Gebruder Gumbold is correct!

    1. If I don't have the money, this whole thing just isn't going to work.

    He thinks he has forgotten his wallet and almost returns to his office, before finding it in his coat and heading off for lunch.

    2. I speak in a language that is foreign to me and I am replied to in a foreign language.

    With a German accent he says "I vill be back in one hour", to which the porter replies "Bon appetit, monsieur".

    3. My employer has a better view from his window than I do.

    His office overlooks Draco's construction site, whilst Blofeld resides in Piz Gloria.

    4. My papers are even more interesting than my papers.

    Bond is after the papers in his safe, but finds the contents of his newspaper rack to be even more titillating.
