Still no correct guesses at the moment. How about another clue?

    1) Both the location and the reception were cold.
    2) It was only a matter of time.
    3) I'm not lazy but I don't mind putting my feet up when the moment presents itself.
    4) Efficiency is my middle name. Ask me for something and I'll double it.
    5) I'm a fan of Greek mythology.
6)A few years ago, Bond would have disapproved of my filthy habit.

    Incorrect
    Dryden
    Miranda Frost
    Boris Grishenko
    Gunther
    Kincade
    Elektra King
    Xenia Onatopp
    Jack Wade

    Vlad from DAD?

He's behind the Greek named ICARUS and boasts to Graves that he has doubled its power. Cold reception in the ice palace?

Once again you have guessed correctly before I had a chance to introduce some of my more devious clues! Well done, as per usual. We wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Yes, it is indeed our friend Vladimir Popov from Die Another Day. When we first meet him in Iceland he gets a cold reception from Graves, who is upset about a thruster going out on the speeder. He also upsets Graves when he tells him that Bond has beaten his best time. He puts his feet up on the desk while smoking a cigarette. He doubled the voltage in Graves' power glove to 100,000 volts from the 50,000 that was requested of him. Also, he is the mastermind behind the Icarus satellite.

Congrats to @Tokoloshe for winning another round! I pass the torch over to you.

A named and speaking Eon character:

    1. I share my name and nationality with a contemporary actress.

    2. I was the victim of a plot against black people.

Do you mean contemporary to the character in the film, or as in now?

Fair question. I will change it to 'modern day' when I add the third clue tomorrow (if needed).

I have a feeling that this will be a cunning one. I can't, off hand, think of any modern actresses who share their name with Bond characters. Going to have to put some thought into this one...

Dominic Greene? He share the name and nationality with Eva Green and although he was no victim of a plot against Black people, he did scheme against Aristide to keep Haiti exploited.

Not Greene, but interesting to hear your thinking nonetheless.

Oh wow, I expected that one to run for much longer. Well done @Birdleson, it is indeed Kronsteen's Canadian chess opponent MacAdams.

He shares his name and country with the gorgeous Rachel McAdams, he plays with the black chessmen and resigns the game when he knows all is lost.

I didn't expect Mr Bleeker to last so long but I had a few good clues lined up for MacAdams which now go unused. Ho hum!

Over to Mr B we go. My congratulations sir, a brilliant coup!

    One more tonight. Two tomorrow.

    Clues:

    1. My companion has had previous experience with Mr. Bond, I have not.
    2. At one point I receive a quick, concise and inaccurate lecture on politics.
    3. My clothing offers little in the way of camouflage in my current surroundings.

    4. It appears that I have been abandoned in a strange place for a decent chunk of time.
