    really stumped now haha. Does 'My killing results' refer to the character's death or their killing someone or is it deliberately ambiguous?

    Yes, the character's death. If no one gets it by tomorrow morning U.S. time (sometime after 2pm London time), I'll be posting easier clues starting then, since I hope to wrap this game up by Wed. or Thurs. at the latest. I hope that's okay with everyone.

    1) One of the "simple word association" words spoken during the exam in Skyfall relates to me.--Murder--Jaws murdered Kalba. "Dance" could've been another one, since there are whirling dervishes performing in the Mojaba Club.
    2) Danger? I don't mind some.--Kalba risked defying Karl Stromberg, and possibly world governments, to try to get money for the submarine tracking system microfilm.
    3) My scheme almost succeeded.--Jaws killed Kalba within minutes of Kalba starting to negotiate with Bond and Triple X.
    4) Something Quarrel said in Dr. No could refer to me.--Quarrel tells Bond, "Now ain't that nice! I like people who's friends of people." To get to Kalba, Bond first has to meet with Fekkesh, who befriended Kalba.
    5) "What I did tonight was for King and country"--NOT--Kalba does not owe allegiance to a government the way Bond does; money is his master here.
    6) Like Michael said in the Godfather, "It's not personal...It's strictly business".--Kalba is trying to work a business transaction.
    7) My homage to Michael Jackson?--When Kalba strides to the phone booth, he's wearing white socks, along with his black trousers and black shoes.
    8) My death wasn't the first, and it won't be the last.--Order of deaths in the film.
    9) Three's company, but five's a crowd.--At first, we see Kalba sitting with two women ("three"). When Bond mentions Fekkesh, he waves them away. If they had stayed after Triple X showed up, that would've made five.
    10) To paraphrase The Wolf in Pulp Fiction, I am a character, and I have character.--Probably self-explanatory, but Kalba is a character in that he tends to speak slowly, even quietly...yet he has character in that he's refined and has status as a club owner.
    11) Something I said was in the title of a Beatles hit.--"Hello, Goodbye". When he goes to the phone and no one's on the other end of the line, part of what he says is "Hello? Hello?"
    12) Obviously I don't care much about other people's welfare.--At first I thought he didn't care if Stromberg had the ability to shower missiles on whoever Stromberg wanted to drop them--that Kalba was just looking out for himself and wanted money. But maybe he does want the governments to intervene, yet he wants money in return. Not sure if I goofed with this one. Then again, Bond does say the vital technical information has been taken out of the microfilm, and maybe Kalba knew that and tried to sell it anyway.
    13) I like to look good.--Club owner Kalba is a snappy dresser.
    14) My killing results in the plot being drawn out for several hours in "movie time".--Jaws kills Kalba, grabs the microfilm, Bond and Triple X hide in his van, trip to the desert, the sun comes up...
    15) I can be just as witty as Bond.--While discussing money, Kalba says Bond might find Triple X's "figure" hard to match.
    16) "Someone's in a hurry". But apparently I'm not.--Again, Kalba tends to move slowly (and later he's lying there dead) while Jaws trots down the street.
    17) "Impress me"? Some things do more than others.--Kalba likes Triple X's looks, but before that when Bond introduces himself, Kalba utters the memorable line, "What of it?"
    18) I enjoy the social whirl.--Whirling dervishes performing in the club.
    19) Damn I'm polite.--When Kalba is called to the phone, he says "Excuse me", and a few seconds later he almost bumps into a woman and says "Pardon me".

    That was quite the challenge, @Thrasos. My mind was bouncing around all over the place. The last two clues finally tied everything together for me. It was nice to have some new players involved the last couple of rounds. Sorry everyone, but it's back to boring old me again. Ok, let's see what I can come up with for the next round.

    I enjoyed doing it (first time). At first I thought that with with a character like Kalba and Vernon Dobtcheff's great/unique performance, people would guess it quickly. This round and rounds where I've been the guesser show me, even though we've seen the films many times, I don't know every character inside and out. And this game may be even better than crossword puzzles for sharpening the mind! I still have that Middle Eastern Mojaba Club music ringing in my head after watching that scene several times.

    @Thrasos, the longer you manage to play a character, the better you understand them, too, which is what I enjoy. When I played Braun from LTK, he went from being a background henchmen (whose name I didn't even know) to standing out in every scene he appears in.
