1. My boss was impressed. Bond was not.
2. Just because I'm dead doesn't mean I can't be useful.
edit: Just caught your note that it's a named character, hmm well I'll try another guess after some thought.

3. For such a minor character, it's perhaps surprising that my name is spoken onscreen.
4. My happiness doesn't last long at all, due to an immediate reversal of fortune.

Yes indeed it's LTK's Clive, who receives the compliment "Nice work Clive, take him out and sink him" from Milton Krest... only to receive very different "compliments of Sharkey" from Bond a few seconds later. Bond then dives into the water and uses Clive's breathing apparatus as part of his rather spectacular escape.
Clues are fairly self-explanatory, I think. Nice work, look forward to seeing what you can come up with next.
I'll pick this up tomorrow with the next character.
1. Bond seems to come across me by accident.
2. It turns out I'm not his interest.
3. I appear with Bond when he's vulnerable.
4. But nothing bad happens to him.
5. I don't have a character name.
Incorrect:
Blofeld's Cat (SP)
Fontainebleau Chambermaid (GF)
Irma Bunt
Motorcycle cop (OHMSS)
Mouse (SP)
Rat (DAF)
Not the mouse in Spectre.
1. Bond seems to come across me by accident. Because Bond was trying to visit Ruby’s room for some fun.
2. It turns out I'm not his interest. See 1
3. I appear with Bond when he's vulnerable. She and Blofeld made an appearance after Bond’s wedding
4. But nothing bad happens to him. Because Tracy was the one who got shot.
