Two new clues added.
Hoping someone gets it soon. Running out of ideas.
Felix Leiter in LTK would be fitting, indeed.
Congratulations @R1s1ngs0n it is indeed, General Georgi Koskov
Over to you.
Named EON character...
My introduction is very Flemingesque.
Koskov's introduction is similar to the scene in the Fleming novel 'The Living Daylights'
I'm very cautious
He's cautious of getting in the 'pig' that cleans the pipes, and later seems uneasy about getting in the Harrier jet
I'm a very smart dresser
Either in a suit, or his Russian Military uniform. Koskov is a sharp dresser.
And quite generous it would appear
He purchases Kara the lady rose cello, for a large sum of money.
I'm well traveled.
We see him in the Czech Republic, England, Tangier and Afghanistan.
And like Bond have an eye for the ladies
He's enjoying the company of various ladies at Whitakers house
Liar liar, maybe not pants on fire.
Koskov is known to have lied to the Russians and The British. Later in the film after he crashes into the plane, the truck explodes scorching his eyebrows.
My associates are not pleased with me.
At the end, General Pushkin is far from pleased to see Koskov.
I’m good at giving orders.
We see him giving the order to kill another agent, and during the climax at the Russian airbase.
One of my colleagues likes to dress up too.
Both Koskov and Necros dress up as doctors when they take Bond in the ambulance aboard the plane.
I'm seen using multiple modes of travel.
We see him in a car, a helicopter and a plane twice.
Someone from my past has a role in the proceedings.
At the airbase in Afghanistan Koskov catches up with his comrade in arms, Colonel Feydor
One of the destinations I visit is quite exotic. An other, is really not.
We see him in Tangiers, and later in the much less exotic, Afghanistan.
Someone from a previous film endures the same treatment.
Saunders places Koskov in the boot of his car. The same as Mary Goodnight had to endure in TMWTGG
I'm a major character in the film.
Self explanatory, Koskov is one of the films villains.
Bond has an unusual relationship with me.
At the beginning Koskov is quite affectionate toward Bond. Later he orders that he be sent to Moscow for killing Pushkin, where he'll likely be executed.
I know who Bond is before he meets me.
Saunders explains Koskov expressly asked that Bond be assigned to protect him.
I'm seen in the company of powerful people.
Koskov explains the 'Smiert Spionam' program to M and The Minister of Defence.
I'm one of those rarities of the series.
Koskov is one of the rare characters on the villains side who survives all the way through the film. Although it's alluded he may not survive when he gets back to Moscow.
Others in the same role, don't make it as far as I do.
General Koskov makes it all the way through the film, unlike General Orlov from OP and General Ouromov from GE.
I was shocked that Koskov had never been played before, until now.

Wow, I really didn't expect to get this one so it's a nice surprise. Good round!
If anyone wants to proceed with a new character then feel free to do so :)
- How many times have you done this?
- You're the first.
Pig, borscht, cake, there must be another way!
Anyway, @R1s1ngs0n , just go for it, doesn't need to be a non-played character and it's fun to run a round.
I don’t expect this one to last very long.
1. My cause of death is the same as another character in the movie.
2. Both Mrs. Bond and I handle the same object... with dire consequences.
3. My accomplice is indirectly responsible for my demise.
4. In certain regards, I can be considered Bond’s first.
