No. GP was, in my humble opinion, a pile of steaming cow dung. I despise the MI franchise - it is horrendous, boring, cynical rubbish.
yes !!!
I'm glad someone sees the brilliance!
(slapping myself)- Don't know what I was thinking. Time for retraining ;)
I believe Actonsteve runs re-education programmes in his west London dungeon.
P.S- There he goes with yet another obscure 80's reference again.
That's exactly what I don't want but won't be surprised if this is what we get (and I for one have never suggested that Skyfall will be in line with the Roger Moore style comedy. I'd be surprised if it was). I've always wanted a few films with one actor playing Bond, in this case Craig, that are in the vein of the darker, wonderful Fleming books, hence this is why I'll be disappointed ( which could very well be the case) if SF has more humour and light heartedness than Casino Royale. They will have departed from the Flemingsque trend that CR began and QOS continued. I enjoy the later, lighthearted Connery flicks, as I do all the Bond flicks excluding the Brosnan ones, for different reasons, but I don't want to see Bond films in the vein of the former until Craig leaves the franchise. We've just had so much comedy and fun throughout the series. Most of the Bond films are like this. Why not have a few darker films for once? I guess some people just want each new film to be a near carbon copy of most of the movies in the Bond franchise.
It'd be cool if you're right. I hope the action to dialogue ratioo in SF won't be higher than it is in CR either. A little less action would be nice, as I always prattle on about, but that's too much to hope for in a contemporary Bond film.
One liners in the Craig films are passable, as long as they're not uttered just after Bond has killed someone for example or during actions scenes. I wouldn't like this at all I but I'm expecting the worst.
Fair enough. I suspect what we're both looking for is not as extremely different as you're trying make out, but I appreciate your point. That said, carbon copies are definitely not what I'm about.
Please!!
QOS was satisfying on a dramatic and cinematic level? That must be one of the worst films films I have ever seen in my entire life. It was like watching the rushes of a Charles Bronson Golan-Globus film. I can't recall one amusing moment or funny line in any of the Craig films so far.
Is not an answer/response to this:
Don't base arguments on opinions. Please detail what you didn't like, perhaps the cinematography, writing, actors, etc so that we have something to base a discussion on. :)
“Comedy in Bond films, for me, comes out of the situations people get into. They're exciting, and hopefully heart-stopping, and the comedy comes out of one-liners and things. When Sam [Mendes] came in, it was key for all of us that there's a lightness of touch in the writing that's not been as evident in the past two.”-Daniel Craig.
Somebody on here told me the producers said something about it too but I'm not sure what exactly they said.
" that last hand, nearly killed me"
I'm fine with a bit more in SF, the humour needs to suit Craig's Bond, I love that bit at the end of the trailer when he says "There are some men coming to kill us, we're going to kill them first" and that cruel smile and raised eyebrow.
I see some potential for some great verbal sparring between Bond & Silva and as DC007 said between Bond & Wishaw's Q. It's great they are keeping him under wraps, though I think we'll get a sneak of him in the theatrical trailer.

Best to not pay any attention to this guy O'Brady. 14 posts and almost every one is a complaint about Craig. He's a humorless troll and likely a charter member of the CNB club. Probably thinks winking pigeons and cheesy one-liners are funny then.
Yes, I've read his posts. He is the kind that will bring up his hatred randomly, instead of when it is allotted.
Back to the teaser trailer discussion, I will say there is one thing I don't like about it: the end. Just the resting, slightly-zoomed in shot of his face, then the score ends, and '007' is on the screen. The finale of it didn't work well for me. Kind of a downer to such an exciting teaser. Aside from that, though, I loved it. Must have seen it over 20 or so times.
Lol try to ignore it mate they are just trying to wind you up , you're better than them.
I literally have know idea what I said that set him off.
Brady is one of the biggest Craig fans on here...
True, I saw it when I went to see MIB 3 a week or two ago (great film btw).
Exactly. That's why I am so confused.
He probably has another account, or another member that was warned or banned before. Definitely a troller.
The MOD's should check his IP address. This has happened on here before.
