Broccoli/Wilson produced musical scores at Tony Awards

Once, a musical play produced among others by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, has scored 8 out of the 11 cathegories for which it was nominated at this year's Tony awards.

Broccoli and Wilson also produced stage productions of A Steady Rain with Daniel Craig and Fleming's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

    Interesting! I had no idea they were into producing for the stage (ignorant of me, I know). Now if they could just have a great singer and song lined up for Skyfall, I will appreciate their talents even more!

    Barbara Broccoli's husband is Fred Zollo, a Broadway producer.

    I had no idea that they were both involved with 'Once.' Sure won a lot of awards, congratulations to Wilson, Broccoli, and everyone else involved!

Previously, John was a bassist in the Irish rock band the Frames, where he met Glen Hansard. These musical roots continue to be evident in John’s work with his latest production, Can a Song Save Your Life?, heading into production in NYC in 2012.
