More menacing and cruel hearted than Bunt, though both are very cold indeed. I enjoyed the fact that Klebb actually took it in a straight up fight against Bond instead of Bunt, who was always keeping her safe distance.
I think the actress died after OHMSS was released.
4 days after the international debut. Just another reason why DAF was completely botched in a sense of followup to OHMSS.
I agree she was creepy...
She couldn't have done, because the actress died. So you can't really blame EON for that one.
True, but none of the other actors who played Blofeld died did they (at least, not before they were replaced). Maybe they decided not to include her to respect the actress.
That is quite possibly the reason, but I'm sure that would have been botched just like everything else pertaining directly to Tracy.
DAF has a certain level of charm for me when I watch it as a standalone movie. As out of shape as he is, Sir Sean is still my hero. Wint and Kidd are hilarious. Plenty is, well, Plenty. But in a sequel sense, it pales next to Quantum Of Solace, which for it's flaws never forgets about Vesper and doesn't insult us with a half-assed attempt to make us believe Blofeld met a fitting end.
Next round: Elliot Carver vs. Gustav Graves
007: "Even trade, Elliot. Gupta for Wai Lin. You can't fire the missile without him."
Carver: "And it seems you can't resist any woman in my posession."
OUCH! Carver it is!
Stephen's Graves wasn't that much better, but I did like his character more. The Sword Fight with Brosnan also works in his favor. Carver just appeared non existent
Graves Wins
Two aspects of the Brosnan era that sunk it below the waterline forever. I cant chose.
What were they or the directors thinking?
Elliot Carver
Although he is not from my favourite era, I thought Pryce was not bad casting and the idea of the media mogul being the central villain was not bad. TND is also Brozza's best outing, so overall an easy choice.
