i am a huge baseball fan - and that smell takes me back to when i was little, each summer running out onto the ball field under the hot sun, and playing baseball with friends - or in leagues... there was nothing like it.
I love to smell cities and places. Most towns have their distinctive smell. Houses as well. When I smell certain places I´ve not been in often, memories from selected yet totally different times come to my mind immediately. I know a place for example that at once reminded me of my early childhood and at the same time of an age around 12 or so. Fascinating stuff, those smells.
Just had a whiff of Poison the perfume and that sends me back to the only girl I really loved. Now that is a heartbreak smell.
More evidence. It's effecting our nose.
