It's not really much to go on. But based on that sneek peak, it looks like business as usual after the rather avergae Back To Earth. Now bring on the obscure references a la "Your backside looks like two badly parked Volkswagens."

So glad the new series was filmed in front of a live audience. Looks much more fun. Hope the lads can bring back the glory days!

No problem! I haven't seen much of it, myself, but the trailer looks pretty entertaining.

I liked Back To Earth, but I'm hoping for something better with this.

The first episode finished a few minutes ago. That was better than BTE, but nothing really stood out as a rib tickler. Though the episode did pick up in the last few minitues.

It's repeated at 23:40. Dave are also showing series IV in between, Camille has just finished and I can see the difference in the jokes. But i'll wait and see how series X progresses.
  • Cheers. I'll watch it when it's repeated.

Good solid episode and it looks like we're back in the series 4-6 mould. Fan-smegging-tastic.
  • I saw it last night. Pretty good. Much better than Back To Earth.

I'll have to wait for the DVD. But I'm waiting for it impatiently. Although I think the series jumped the shark with season 7, it started to come back to better things with season 8 (the Dinosaur episode got me rolling on the floor). Haven't seen Back to Earth yet. If the new series is only a tenth as good as the preceeding ones, it will still be better than most of waht passes for TV these days.
