Same here, but mine's a gel blaster. Was originally after one as a Spectre prop.
Some of the police officers here buy these toys to train with; and personally, after a year of owning several different types, handguns, rifles etc., I can now pick up any gun and apply automatic trigger discipline. Very beneficial entry point, as you mention.
