One scene that I think really would've helped the movie along immensely would've been if we actually saw the moment where Steppenwolf was given his marching orders from Darkseid (hidden in shadow beyond his red eyes, us hearing only his voice) to attack earth again to claim it using the Mother Boxes. The New Gods could've cameoed to tease future appearances, Steppenwolf's motivations would've been more solid and Darkseid could've even said a line to point to the previous film and why Steppenwolf is doing what he's doing
Darkseid: "Luthor proved to be an exceptional pawn, even for a terrestrial. His Doomsday creation took the Last Son of Krypton off the game board, leaving us open to claim checkmate."
BAD BAD CGI.
Flash suit horrible
Too much forced comedy
Not enough action
No DS?!! (They cut it)
Editing and writing horrible.
Rushed!
Seriously what more can I say.
Waited twenty years just to be let down.. I could write a better plot than that piece of crap!!
The Flash running no idea what's going on there, and Cavil I really hope they do something to the invisible tash for the Bluray version. Unfortunately I find JL mediocre too
It gets more distracting each time lol
Some amazingly ironic tie-in advertising.
It still amazes me that Batman (and a few other franchises if I were to be honest specifically Macgyver Highlander etc) should easily be like 007 and up to film 24 and yet WB still has not found a way to 007 their Batman... it’s odd
Somehow Nolan (and Burton too, to give him credit) have been the only directors to avoid making the DC costumed heroes seem weird in live action, with a shout out to Donner as well for the old days. Patty Jenkins did great with WW as well, but I don't really view Diana as a costumed hero in the way I do with Superman and Batman.
Only 13 people showed up for the protest ;))
:))
Is this a real thing?
All it needs is the slogan: "Gillette—a super razor for super-staches."
Or: "The only thing apart from kryptonite strong enough for Kryptonian whiskers."
Also, what the hell is up with Batman? Red Hood is just to his left and he's not doing a damn thing about it. Crusader my arse.

I would not bet against it, I just wish they would make good stand alone films.
I would like to see it.
@Creasy47, that's been my understanding as well, basically. That Snyder's work didn't have effects done on it yet and a lot was unpolished. And with how poorly the film did at the box office, WB aren't going to shell out more money to finish what Snyder left. At best his pre-effects work will be a special feature on a future blu-ray, but there will never be a true Snyder cut.
And Superman: The Animated Series, whose two-part sagas "Apokolips... Now!" and "Legacy" showed how to do an epic alien-invasion story with Steppenwolf and Darkseid and how to follow it up. I doubt any live action film will ever do a better job--animation is the proper home of superheroes, especially when made by people like Timm and Dini and company.
Oh yes, S:TAS was a fantastic follow-up to B:TAS. Still one of the best representations of Superman for my money. Those two-parters you cited were incredible—as was the origin three-parter "The Last Son of Krypton" and any number of others, including "Brave New Metropolis," "Stolen Memories," and "Ghost in the Machine."
(And while I may be the minority, I'm particularly fond of Timm and Dini's Batman Beyond.)
