To be fair that's what Civil War was about with the Sakovia Accords; being kept in check and accountability. Even in the first Avengers film they touched on the damage and destruction and who was going to clean it up. Age of Ultron made a point in trying to minimise colattetal damage and trying to keep destruction isolated and spider-man homecoming had the vulture as being part of the clean up crew to handle the fallout of the events of the Avengers. I thinking fair to say Marvel have done a much better job with addressing battle damage and destruction. MoS was just straight up destruction porn. The hard-core kind.
Suit looks great, will look cool with the hud up.
Brady?
Bueller?
;)

I don’t know, I can’t picture her in that role.
Agree
DC is a mess
At the end Zod is firing his heat vision, and taking a REALLY long time to hit the innocents.... Superman could have just pushed him down towards the the Earth's core, or yanked him backwards and then up into space... hello, HEADLOCK? I call BS on trying to be real without considering REALITY. Better to do it the old fashioned way, and take away his powers then throw him into a weird bed of arctic/Fortress mist to be collected by the conveniently available North Pole authorities.
Zod gave a ultimatum that he would pretty much kill everyone, if Superman did not end it then more people would have died.
I always imagine Cheetah just radiating strength and confidence. I don’t get that out of Wiig. I’ve only seen her play meek or goofy characters. I know she’s done more serious roles, but I just haven’t seen them.
I remember Charlize Theron was rumored for a role in Wonder Women 2 sometime last year. She’d be a great Cheetah.
Nope. Maneuvered nonsense. THIS is why Snyder was let go. It works if you like it, but not when you really examine it. Superman had the strength to break Zod's neck, but not enough to knock him out... Okay. Lighter fare like Reeve's Superman gets a pass on hard reality, even though it gets it more right. He took the fight AWAY from Metropolis by fleeing north.
If Zod got away for mere seconds he would murder people, it's established his cause is lost and he is totally psychotic in the film.
I saw the same story on YouTube, I think good casting would be a good physical match for Gal
Watching the end of WW now Gal really is amazing
I see MOS as an Elseworld story and I think it's consistent in its own narrative, I love Reeve Superman and in time hopefully something will get close to that as it is definitive, though I am open minded to different interpretations of Superman whether it be live action or animated.
Elseworld? We can agree here then, my friend!
Totally it's far from an accurate depiction of Supes though I knew that from the start, nothing beats Chris Reeve :)
The opening title sequence and following Metropolis scene are fantastic. People hate the rest of the film.
Batfleck in that movie was the Dark knight come to life. WTF happened to him in Justice League?? It kills me to say he was one of the weaker links in that movie
(for the record, I loved Justice League too, but there are obvious problems)
You are very wise, my grievances with JL are that they abandon what they started in MoS and BvS.
Nice one, but alas deleted scenes are deleted for a reason. In the original cut and the Donner cut they are very much dead, though Supes brings them back in the Donner cut by turning back time for the second time in two films.
