I bought The Flash for £19.99 at midnight when it went to digital, I enjoy the film despite it's issues.

Same. The flaws are obvious. It's an uneven film for sure, and nowhere near as emotionally effective as The Flashpoint Paradox. But it does a lot of things right too, including the music, several performances, and... ow boy, Supergirl. Seriously, she may be the best part of the whole film for me.

Totally agree Supergirl was great, Sasha Calle does emote well in the part I wish she had more screen time, it's unlikely though I would like Sasha to reprise the role.

I think there was too many things going against the film, multiple heads of DC, numerous directors that left the project, Millars antics, when you factor everything in its remarkable they managed to have any kind of finished product.

I heard that a lot of R Rated content was removed from The Flash, I would want to see that., WB has a history of delivering alternate cuts so fingers crossed.

Their alternate cuts are usually a whole lot better too.

Just watched the BB Final trailer, wow talk about giving away the entire movie.

I don't think there's going to be any surprises in that film though: it looks like it was made by AI which was asked the question 'What would Spider Man (2002) look like if he was blue and had worse jokes?'.

That was a good laugh. Another genuine lol moment!!

Just watching The Flash Batman and Supergirl scenes again, two standout moments are
When Bruce is sewing up his arm and looking in the mirror, that single expression that Bruce makes says so much and gives Batman's final word's even more weight, that was awesome.
and because its a great transition shot
Kara ferociously punches Zod the camera pans back and with no cut the Batwing fly's into shot with Elfman's theme blasting, that was really good.

Great film I have various versions, you should check out The Ultimate Cut its almost 1 hour longer, it incorporates Tales of the Black freight as well as extra scenes.

The opening sequence was the best part of the movie and the only time Snyder seemed to understand the whole through-line of Alan Moore’s text.

I saw the film several times in theatres when it came out. I love the Ultimate Cut. I read the book at least once every few years, including the 'Before Watchmen' comics. The TV series was epic. It's such a great experience overall. Brilliant stuff!

Before Watchmen: Minutemen was the absolute best of the BW bunch.

I enjoyed The Flash but I think what hurt it was the insistence on doing Flashpoint for the first movie as an excuse to get multiple versions of other superheroes in there.

The movie is called THE FLASH.The first movie at least should have been a truly stand-alone film with Flash going up against one of his greatest enemies like Reverse Flash and Zoom.Flashpoint is something u build up to.

Having General Zod as a villain in a Flash movie is like having The Green Goblin as a villain in an Iron Man movie.

The Flash I think this is the 6th time watch, this film is awesome. I am seeing things I never thought I would ever see in a live action film.

Could the two source materials for the film be handled better? of course though it does not stop me enjoying the movie.

The more I see of The Flash, especially when it comes down to that horrid CGI, the more I'm nearly enticed to give it a watch. I doubt I ever do but it seems so terrible that I need to experience it for myself eventually.

It is worth watching for Supergirl and Keaton's Batman, despite its issues with mixed CGI the film is good. The finale is Bat$#!+ crazy.

I've seen you championing it here recently, and while I hold little excitement for the superhero genre of films these days, you and I usually see eye-to-eye on a lot of movies. I also dig Keaton's Batman so maybe it's worth a viewing just to see him suit up once again too. I might actually check it out then. I'll be sure to share my thoughts here if I do.

I’ve been tough on DC, but I also enjoyed THE FLASH. The movie has a very cartoonish vibe that the CGI not being photorealistic isn’t much of a detriment.

There are some poignant moments with Keaton's Batman, one in particular with no dialogue which resonates.

Every James Bond actor who portrayed a DC character:

George Lazenby portrayed Jor-El in two episodes of the 1988 TV series Superboy.
