I'd love if that made into movie form (not the mullet though)
I am all for the black suit, Dean Cain in a previous use of the black suit. Suits are far better these days thankfully.
Tom Welling.
Another variation on the suit, Brandon Routh.
I just want to see him get to play the kind of Superman he deserves to be. Everything else is irrelevant at this point, whether he's bald, in a mullet, wearing a black suit or speedo.
See, THIS looks good
I maybe misspoke when I said 'mullet' (even though that's what people typically call the hairstyle ROS Supes had). A mullet is long in the back, and short on the top. It does not look good. On anyone.
I want long hair, yes, but NO MULLET.
I think it will happen, narrative wise its got to be where they are leading.
@Master_Dahark Cavill looks cool in that picture, heaven forbid a Bolton Mullet.
;))
Goyer don't do it! :))
Batfleck really does emote anger well.
Sonuvabitch, now it's gonna happen. Stop giving them ideas!
Thanks for the warning! I have noticed that Characters are not always who they seem to be, even after having been established, and this after only 10 episodes.
The flashbacks are great, as we see how Oliver evolved from brat playboy to lethal weapon.
The mystery of the island reminds somewhat of Lost, which I think is best TV show of the new century fantasy-spy action-dramas.
The writers even worked in a quick dialogue nod to Lost in one of the early episodes.
Arrow reminds somewhat of the Bat. ie rich, secret identity, no superpowers, but highly tuned physical powers and senses. Makes lots of good fighting gear in his secret lair. Terrorizes the criminals of his city. Has his own Alfred like assistant too, although Digs is a fighter too, but also acts as older wiser mentor.
I like that Arrow's got a bit of the 007 lethal edge in him too, in that he doesn't hesitate to kill.
But what makes the show really work, I think is the camp vibe, which keeps it colourful and fun yet still dark and edgy. Nice balance. Characters get to overact a bit and it works just fine.
Makes the whole thing fun to watch.
Never mind Bond Girls. Arrow Girls. He's got quite the little stable so far. Huntress, I thought was very well drawn. She will be back. I know I peeked ahead to the episode summaries.
Spoilers don't bother me.
I didn't realize these DC TV series were quite so good.
Arrow looks real nice in blu-ray.
I'm guessing Flash and Gotham and Supergirl are pretty good too!
Flash, yes. Supergirl, kinda. Gotham, it's walking nonsense wrapped up in Jada Pinkett-Smith. Three episodes in, you'll be okay; six episodes in, you'll wonder why you're watching it; ten episodes in, you'll be justifying watching it by saying "I've stuck around this far"; twenty episodes in, you'll wish you'd never watched any of it to begin with. I've never seen any of season 2 of Gotham, but I'm told it got worse.
They have so many of Batman's villains at this point-- some of whom BATMAN WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING-- that I wouldn't even be surprised if they just threw Ben McKenzie into a Batsuit next season!!
May as well just skip the actual Batman at this point!
If young Bruce ever becomes Bats in a later season, what's he going to do?
Batman: "Commissioner... I'm here to help take down Mr. Freeze, The Penguin & the Court of Owls."
Gordon: "Oh them, I took care of them years ago."

Arrow and Flash are part of same universe , along w the Legends spinoff, and Supergirl too, I think.
Flash S1 is one of the best first seasons of any TV show, enjoy its really is good.
A longer, more detailed review
The big issue is that the show has 20+ episode seasons, with a lot of BS and filler put in between to justify it. I'd prefer if each season told more condensed and focused stories at around 10-14 episodes, 16 at most if there was content and vision to support it. As it is now, you keep slogging through things that aren't great to see those small moments that are. In the case of season 1, you're plowing through the annoying Fish Mooney just to see Bruce and Alfred. And some episodes, we don't see Bruce at all, and that smarts.
Haven't seen season two beyond the first three crazily horrible episodes, and don't have an intention to go back anytime soon. Maybe one day.
By way of the Flash opening up a wormhole to another dimension, yes, Supergirl takes place in that universe. It actually doesn't, though it may end up that way at some point in the future, now Supergirl is on the same network as Arrow, Flash and Legends. As I said before, the Flash runs fast enough to break the dimensional barrier in one episode and ends up there.

And he liked it.
That is a very good photoshop, looks pretty awesome.
I think he could make any of these work.
And here's the adult Ivy, played by Maggie Geha :
I certainly would succomb to temptation.
