Bold statement
I'm not really buying any of it until a new Director comes in. Only then will we begin to see a definitive picture of how it is shaping up.
Yes, it seems odd. It wasn't good last month, now it's sunshine and rainbows. Also interesting that it lines up with him taking himself off the hot seat.

Interesting.
With a new director hired, whenever that happens, the script will likely be retooled to fit the vision that the new team want to pursue. The key is to get Terrio the hell away from the script, as he's part of the reason we're in this situation in the first place. If you have him writing the script, you might as well just get Snyder to direct to make the two stupidest decisions possible.
“We’ve been waiting 35 years for these [characters] to show up on the screen,” Fishburne said. “What were they doing over there? Marvel has been kicking their ass. This is the comic book geek in me, who has a collection of comic books. I’ve been waiting to see these people on-screen forever.”

I'm horrified to even imagine what that would've been like had those movies continued the way they did
I haven't seen any of them, even after countless people endlessly suggested I watch 'The LEGO Movie' or whichever one it was.
I'd kill to have this hung up!
I was looking at Alex Ross work last week, the Chris Reeve and Helen Slater infinite Crisis image I want. Now I can't find it :\
The above image is pretty awesome!

Agreed. But isn't Reeves set to go? Is it just that Scott has expressed interest? Not sure what the chances are of him actually getting The Batman.
Any thoughts? I'm taking this with a BIG grain of salt
Nothing would surprise me anymore but I am taking it with a grain of salt, too. If Affleck drops out and Wonder Woman doesn't impress, the only thing I would be interested in is Man Of Steel 2 - and that would be on the condition that it is a standalone flick not concerned with any more world building. Just a good ol' Superman story about Superman. Gotham Sirens doesn't really do anything for me at this point.
I really hope Affleck doesn't leave.
