Just found this ha ha at Lego Batman.
Ben's a slab of beef, and the suit helps him along in appearing massive. They got the predator aspect of Batman right, now we just need some other elements. I know I'd be wetting myself if I saw him coming from the corner of my eye.
Now this is interesting always felt Superman saying that did not quite work.
P.s. Who ever typed the text on this image, their spelling is worse than mine.
Plus, he doesn't even find Martha in the film, because if he did know where to get her, he could've flown there in seconds and saved her before any of Lex's guys knew what'd happened.
The visuals must just do it for you, which I get, as the Batman stuff can be cool. It's just that all the other stuff in the film brings it down for me, which is a shame. I wanted to love it so, so bad. It had a lot of potential with interesting ideas, but somewhere in there the story and core message of the film got way lost.
Campea is unbelievable
I haven't seen any of Reeves' movies yet but I've heard rave reviews on these boards!
According to comics, Batman is 6'2", 210lbs, so technically West is closest! Batfleck & Bale certainly would have hit the mark, but they can't change their height of course.
I'm 6'2" & 210 but I don't look like Batman, lol
I'd have to hit that gym 1000 times more than I do now!
I want to start using that word more!
'I love listening to your little pissant soldiers trying to talk tough. They make me laugh.
If Matrix was here, he'd laugh too.'
West was considered for Bond, West would have made a good serious Batman I think.
Campea should leave Collider for the umpteenth time, he brings down the show now.
Actually, believe it or not, Affleck (much like Connery in the Bond movies) wore a wig to play Bruce Wayne. That being said, I'm happy to see all these ridiculous rumors about the Batman being put to rest. I'm glad that Affleck appears to be sticking with the role, and that the project seems to have a director. It also looks as if Aquaman is starting to go into production, and apparently the early screenings for Wonder Woman turned out to be positive.
Yeah the DCU negativity is a bit much at times irrespective of whether the films are good or bad, some clearly have a anti DC agenda despite claiming the opposite.
Matt Reeves on helming The Batman
“I have loved the Batman story since I was a child. He is such an iconic and compelling character, and one that resonates with me deeply. I am incredibly honored and excited to be working with Warner Bros. to bring an epic and emotional new take on the Caped Crusader to the big screen.”
Encouraging
Watching Collider now Campea's day off though the panel have been negative toward the Matt Reeves news, saying there has been too much bad news over the last few weeks, so they find it hard to be positive. :)) They are the ones who created the stir of negativity.
I was a fan though I can't take him seriously with his recent comments
I've never given a damn about him, so I don't think I'm included in this comparison.
He's everything that's wrong with industry journalism, which amounts to some jackass mouthing off about a scoop they're using as click-bait for their site, a scoop they'll later flip out over when the rest of the media take it as the fact that they purported it to be.
Campea is a weak host that surrounds himself with women that current demographics seem to see as "hot" (who basically look like blonde college cheerleader types) and who know jack about movies, but at least they can look into the camera and give winky eyes.
The Schmoes are the only people worth watching affiliated with Collider, and they're not even long partners with Campea, thank heavens.
I loved reading all this
"This is not a scoop, guys! I might be wrong about this but I did hear it from someone."
*proceeds to write as if it's fact and loads of people told him*
*whole thing turns out to be bull*
I can handle when journalists are wrong, but when one is knowingly wrong and writes their rhetoric anyway but tries to cover their ass it really annoys me.
That's a verbatim quote. He has no right to act outraged when people report that he was taking it as fact, because by the way he was speaking, he was. What a drama queen.
It still sucks me in occasionally though. I bought into Reeves backing out of negotiations a few pages back. Always hard to tell what's real and what isn't until you know for sure.
That's why I sit back and wait for official announcements. Until then, there's no point in tossing around outrage or speculation at unsubstantiated things. The Bond 25 Production thread is a perfect example of what happens when you don't act accordingly.
