Specs are going around, that Muse might be doing the theme song. Not impossible IMO.

Cool! Hopefully we may get the opportunity to see the program highlights over here in the UK?

I caught The One Show. There must have been more Bond visits than first thought, on TV today. The programme should be on iPlayer now to view for those in the UK.

    "Quantum Of Solace" (2008)
    ITV1 - UK
    Friday 28th September 2012
    22:35 - 00:30

MI6 May Want to Note: This is the last James Bond film to be broadcast by ITV after 37 years of having the rights to air Bond, since 1975.

That's it for the TV alerts. It's been fun.

    Over and out.
  • Could they not have chosen a better final film?

Cmon, the last Bond film ever on ITV, out of all of them, why pick QOS? Why not show an iconic Connery film or something and make a big deal out of it being the last one?

They've shown them all in order, starting with Dr. No in June. Take a look back through this thread. That may explain why Quantum Of Solace is the final film.

I know they started showing them in order on Saturday afternoons, but it's been all over the place hasn't it? They've been showing the Brosnan and Craig films pretty randomly, I swear QOS was on TV not very long ago.

Only in order on ITV1. You're right, the Brosnan and Craig films did get a separate run on ITV2 a while ago.

Sky now have 007 set up in the planner and their sequence of showings is, well, random.

    However, also listed are the first extra docs;
'Bond girls are forever' ( surprise surprise) and
'Pay attention 007' ( a great documentary in honour of Desmond Llewellyn, first shown in 2000 on C4)

For those with Sky, enjoy. :-)

It seems this way @Samuel001, may I say, not in a shy way. Oh no, oh no not me. You did it your way. Thanks @Samuel001 for being the major source of all british based tv alerts. Your contribution was epic on this thread, gonna miss it. :-( I hope we still exploit this thread for all things Bond on TV however. Cheers Sam.
