Some of the action is breathtakingly inventive, but is marred by way too much CGI.
I did love Chris Hemsworth in the film. A brilliantly demented addition to the Mad Max universe. Also good was Tom Burke as Praetorian Jack. A character in the vein of Max himself.
First viewing was pretty overwhelming, so i will definitely be giving this another watch soon.
Didn't like it at all mate! Just didn't do anything for me, and found it way too like 'Fury Road'. Miller apparently is still planning another, will probably give it a miss!
Fair enough mate. Prequels are tricky, because we more or less know how they'll end up, as well as, 'is the story worth telling?'
It's a shame Miller didn't use the opportunity to expand on the Mad Max universe with something new and original.
