Of all these deaths, only the last one seems unexpected, but maybe I hadn't paid much attention to the news of his illness. For the rest, well, they had long and fruitful lives, I guess.

Only a few of you will recognise this guy but he was one of my tutors whilst I studied British Politics at Essex Uni so sad for me, he never dumbed down in his TV spots.
He had critics but he was a genuine nice guy and footballing man through and through.
On Friday the 13th no less!!! @-) RIP
Blatty wrote/directed one of my favourite films to star Stacy Keach (and one of the most bonkers films i've seen), The Ninth Configuration. A truly unique film. R.I.P

Yes, strangely I'd been reading about Armstrong-Jones meeting Kingsley Amis in 1959 and of an amusing incident that had preceded his getting engaged to Princess Margaret just about two days before I heard of his death.
One of the classic character's!!!!
RIP Jimmy Snuka!
From the Golden era of WWF, wrestling really was crazy back then.

Quite shocked and saddened at the death of the talented Miguel Ferrer
http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/miguel-ferrer-dead-dies-ncis-los-angeles-1201964233/
Ferrer is set to reprise his best role the acid tongued FBI agent with a heart of gold Albert Rosenfield in the highly anticipated season 3 of Twin Peaks.
As much as I am looking forward to this ( nothing else will get close in 2017 for me) it will be with a tinge of the bitter sweet with the loss of this great character actor.
Every word out of his mouth in RoboCop was hilarious!
'What, are you kidding me? I thought we agreed on total body prosthesis- now lose the arm, ok?!?'
RIP
No his father was Jose not Mel Ferrer, his mum is a Clooney (George Clooneys Aunt)
