Sad news. Only a young man.

Sad news. Wasn't aware the rest of the family were talents in their own right.
The 80s show and the Cruise films are pale imitations.
I have to confess when I think of Mission Impossible I usually think of the Cruise films, same with Harrison Ford's The Fugitive.
Normally I associate Peter Graves with Captain Oveur from Airplane!

Yet another memorable character from that groundbreaking show, he will appear in S3, prominent member of the cast of the original show, Warren Frost imbued Doc Hayward with such warmth and humanity and he's also Mark Frost's Dad.
RIP.

Agreed I think in a way it still as the upper hand over most shows in it burnt bright for a short period of time but it's influence resonated so much.
Although the warmth of it which is sometimes forgotten in all the weirdness and kooky element is something that modern shows are missing, Peaks was at time full of such emotion.
For instance while Laura Palmer's funeral was darkly amusing it was also so sad and moving, well it was for me.
I've noticed some in the fan community mentioning that they hope it's more like FWWM but although I do expect the darkness to be there, it would be a shame for it to lack that warmth that the best elements of the original program that made it so special.

I predict imdb will have less and less views now. Bad mistake they made. Granted it was seeming like more and more people would post there as trolls just to stir the pot, but much of the fun was reading others comments about various films, actors, and their experiences seeing different films and so forth. Oh, well.
I'll definitely miss it
I understand business decisions and having a focus, but there's also the idea to end well. Not so much for IMDb Message Boards.
So it's tomorrow's news today. Death for breakfast.
And as of 7:23 PM EST 19 February 2017, it's done like Vijay--no more problems.
Discussion on Message Boards is what's ceased.
Ha ha, true. Thundy's always quick off the mark! :))

is similar to IMDB. The site has boards for shows/films. :) Given enough support and users it can become the new IMDB! It's been online since 2008. Worth checking out and supporting.
I agree wholeheartedly. That is pretty senseless. I personally thought that they would have archived the old forums and discussions but they must want a fresh start instead. A pity, but there you are
