  Yes, I should have said that Millie is mainly black, but has some white on her legs and neck area. The painting reminds me of her (and me!) but it's not a total fit as it dates from a German novel cover of the 1920s!

Sure, Grace Slick was the more "famous" singer in the Jefferson Airplane -- but Marty got the Airplane off the ground before Grace even joined the group with their 2nd album.   Sad news. They’ll be plenty who watched Rainbow growing up, that will recall him I’m sure. RIP Geoffrey.

  When I was 5 years old in the early 90s two of my absolute favourite programmes were Rosie and Jim and Rainbow. Now both presenters have gone in the space of a week. :(

  Carlos Ezquerra was an absolute legend of UK comics. Very sad to hear of his passing. He co-created the legendary Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog comic book characters for 2000AD. It's no exaggeration to say Carlos Ezquerra was the artistic heart and soul of 2000AD.
