RIP, old buddy.
Thanks again for the kind words.
Sorry for your loss @ToTheRight . I was devastated when my cat Odin (the one you see on my picture) got run over by a car and died suddenly. We now have Domino, a black and white one, who is all right, but the relationship is not the same. My young son loves him though. He is of an uncertain age, and I dread the day I will have to teach my son to grieve.
Sad news. James Frawley directed some of my favourite episodes of Columbo.
Sorry for your lost @ToTheRight . The pain of losing a pet is real. I hope as time passes, the pain eases and what you remember are all the happy memories with Max.

A nice write-up on James Frawley. Thanks, @AlexanderWaverly. :)
Until yesterday, I never knew that Frawley was the actor who stars in The Professional "film within a film" in Columbo: Make Me A Perfect Murder (1978).

And in France, two stars of TV have passed away recently. The first is Patrick Bricard, who became famous in the seventies by playing François, the friend of dinosaur Casimir in L'Île aux Enfants, one of the french versions of Sesame Street, who died aged 68.

R. I. P. Clive Swift he will probably be best remembered for Keeping up appearances which was hilarious.
Though I'll remember him best as he has a part in one of my favourite films...
