    That's probably the most sensible thing to do, particularly if they still had a lot of filming left to do.

    Could well mean another film being released for 2015 though.

    They may just film seven and eight back to back and release them from 2016. No point trying to rush something into a year that's fully taken. Universal will make the right decision, whatever that is.

    Right when Walker passed away, my friend was telling me that he was in the middle of shooting them back-to-back, but I didn't think that was true. They could do that, especially if they have to scrap everything and restart.

    Pretty cool of them to do that.

    Yes, I am glad they are doing that. Just to keep it in perspective, "a portion of" the proceeds will be donated, not all by any means. Still, that is a very decent and appropriate gesture.

    Paul Walker is said to have died of the "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries," while Roger Rodas died of "multiple traumatic injuries" the coroner said.

    The coroner ruled that both deaths were accidents and said that the injuries occurred when the car struck a fixed object.

    Universal Pictures has announced it is putting filming of Fast & Furious 7 on hold indefinitely.

    They said in a statement: "Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker."

    Over half the film had been shot at the time of the accident.

    It's really unfortunate knowing that the crash wasn't what killed Paul, it was the fire.

    But knowing he was unconscious on impact at least meant he never knew what killed him. Some comfort in that at least.

    I'd heard about his being on poor health earlier this year, but nothing recently. Either way, he was 95, so it's not too surprising.

    R.I.P. to one of the greatest heroes of the 20th century.

    Sad news but I think many will be relieved that his suffering has come to an end. I can't imagine what it must be like to just be hanging on to life in that fashion. One can only hope that his family show a little more decorum now that he has passed instead of the squabling they've been doing for the most of this year. RIP Nelson.

    95 is a long and eventful life, one he lived to the full. What he's done and his legend will live on forever though. RIP.

    I just heard. Mandela lived a full and inspiring life, accomplishing things lesser men couldn't. May he rest in peace.
