  I don't know how true this may or may not be, but there is a internet article from today stating that Dutch actor Jeroen Krabbé, known to us as General Koskov of TLD, was allegedly killed in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland. Here is a link to the article. I hope it's not true-

  If we have a Dutch member here, they may be able to tell us what their news reports are saying about this. None of us want this to be true, but internet reports as we all know can be unreliable and hopefully this is the case.

  Jaws was a Universal picture release if I remember when it was introduced in theaters in 1975, anyone who's seen it, may know what an inappropriate classification that was, not a movie for everyone..

  Dutch actress Sylvia Kristel, best known for playing the eponymous character of the erotic movie Emmanuelle, a few of its sequels, and the TV movies where she shared the spotlight with Georges Lazenby, passed away this night at the age of 60, from cancer.
  
  That's a part of my teenage years that's gone away. Although I didn't watch the movie until later, I certainly heard about it (and saw the world-famous ad) back then in the 70s.

  Georges Chaulet, creator of Fantômette, passed away last week, at the age of 81. One big part of my childhood who has disappeared.

  No way! I grew up watching this charming man, especially Dad's Army which is still shown regularly. You will be missed! RIP.

  RIP Clive Dunn. Jones was his fantastic character in Dads Army. His slapstick style was expertly done and he so brilliantly portrayed an old man when he was still relatively young. He shout of 'Dont panic' always made me smile.

  Damn. He was in the newer Dallas show too, a shame. The show will be in a tough spot. My sympathies with the family and friends of Larry.

  I just couldn't resist saying my condolences to a co-worker whose parents named John Ross (I'm not kidding ! They were probably big fans of the series). He took it in the spirit it was intended (as a harmless johke).
  
  This said, Dallas is not the only thing he has done. He was also very good in I Dream of Jeanie and SOB.
