Not my favourite horror franchise, but the first one is a classic.

    RIP, Gunnar.

Due to my absense, this comes late, but I would like to pay my respects to Gunnar Hansen. So full on was his performance as Leatherface, that it's easy to forget that he played Leatherface in only the original film. On top of that, like so many horror actors that terrify us onscreen, in person they are the very definition of warmth and kindness, Hansen was no different.

Gone but never forgotten. R.I.P Gunnar Hansen.

    That is a big loss.
Ferzetti a giant figure in an epic Bond film.
90 years old, in fact well over 90.
44 years old circa 1969 as Draco.
Superb performance as Draco, seemingly lifted directly from the pages of Fleming.

RIP Mr Ferzetti. I would like to sign a contract to live 90+ years like you did! What a wonderful age. But...you will be greatly missed :-(. What a stunner of a role you had in "OHMSS".

RIP Gabriele Ferzetti! One of my favorite characters. Definitely the highlight of OHMSS for me.

Sad to hear of the death of Gabriele Ferzetti. I was surprised to find some time ago that he was still alive. OHMSS is my favourite Bond film so this is particularly sad for me. At least he lived a good full life. His performance as Marc Ange Draco was exceptional.

How very tragic to have lost yet another Bond actor. RIP to Gabriele Ferzetti! Thank you for your work in OHMSS.

Also, RIP to those who lost their lives in California yesterday. No motives have been clearly outlined yet, but I know it takes a real bad group of people to shoot up a home utilized for the disabled and mentally handicapped. Unreal.

    RIP Anthony Valentine.

Fine and very handsome actor (could have been Bond imo), also narrated some Bond stories for radio and spoken word tapes.

RIP to Ferzetti. The last couple of years have seen the deaths of some absolute, bona fide Bond greats; it's a sad time, now that so many of our favorites from the older films are well into their latter years. Something we have to accept, no matter how hard it is some times. It's a blessing alone that we still have all our Bonds with us.

Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland has passed away. I remember watching Velvet Revolver in Manchester, 2005 and he put on a super show.

    RIP

For a few years, Stone Temple Pilots were up there with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney and Tad in that particular music scene, semi-legendary.

Robert Loggia could be weird and menacing in a friendly, unsettling way. Character actor with a strong presence.

Sad to hear that Robert Loggia has died. Funny I was just thinking about him at work earlier today. I was wondering to myself if he was still alive. He was in the Columbo episode 'Now You See Him'.

I just happened to of watched that Columbo episode 'Now you see him' 1976, only a couple of days ago. An excellent episode with one of the top Columbo villians ever i.e Jack Cassidy (who unfortunately had a truly tragic death).
I believe it was the film thriller 'Jagged Edge' in 1985 that was a high point in Robert Loggia's career, as the man who tried to convince that dimwit Glenn Close that Jeff Bridges was the murderer.

I heard about Robert Loggia. I'll always remember him from "BIG" and "INDEPENDENCE DAY". I was surprised to hear about Gabriele Ferzetti. It's ironic. Not only did he appear in "OHMSS" with Lazenby, he was also in the Pierce Brosnan version of "AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS".

Rest in peace, Mr. Loggia and Mr. Ferzetti.
