I am replaying bloodstone and having a blast and I have to wonder sure we all like to complain about activison But is there a bond game from them we like or hate the least?

I do plan on replaying Goldeneye and Quantum of Solace in preparation for 007: Legends.

  • my favourite is quantum of solace. it offered the most fun online. I know goldeneye reloaded had online, but i found the online not that great. it felt a bit sloppy somehow.

My Favorite is 007 Legends. It looks like it's going to be as awesome as Nightfire.

Bloodstone. The only really good Bond game they've made I think. QOS was fun but I hated GE.

Blood Stone. It has the best story.

Bloodstone, the ONLY game so far that Activison has made that can call itself a bond game.

    Nightfire.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't correctly read the thread. My Activision favourite is QoS.

Do you have a favorite Activision Bond game?

GoldenEye: Reloaded is the only one I'm played from start to finish, so that would be my pick. The ideas behind Blood Stone were very good, though. Another game like that would be great, as in a new adventure.

I would say Blood Stone is pretty much the general consensus. I'm not surprised, it's the only original one they've made. Maybe if that Raven one gets picked up again, we'll get one that's at least on par with Blood Stone, if not better.

Bloodstone definitely. A step up from Quantum of Solace and with a wholly original (new) plot to the boot. Mixture of on foot and driving action almost washed away the bad after taste Quantum of Solace left after cutting much of the exciting action seen in the movies. You can see some of this in Bloodstone, with the Greece car chase mimicking Quantum of Solaces chase in Italy (some of the scenery even looks the same) and the boat chase was somewhat lifted from the movie too.

replaying Quantum of Solace now it's really not that bad I mean it's not amazing of course but it's still a lot of fun.

@Gareth00789, please quit the habit of double posting. Other members live by the rules, please do so too.

As for the topic of this thread, I find Bloodstone a better game than QOS. I think it's Activision's best so far. And for all the hatred towards Activision I've been reading over the past years, all I can say is: Activision >>> EA. Most members know why I find this to be so. ;-)

replaying goldeneye man Quantum of solace is so much better the level designs are great but the lack of being able to cover SUCKS!
  • If you played on consoles @DarthDimi, you'd think differently ;) You missed out on Everything or Nothing and the good version of Nightfire.

    For me, it's EA>>>>Activision by a mile.

See I wish Ea finsihed Casino Royale in 2006 as Craig is my favorite bond .(I own all the films and have seen them all multiple times but for me where Brosnan was all the cliches of the previous bonds Craig has the best elements of the the other bonds)

there was some level artwork posted somewhere if Casino Royale 2006 the video game was 3rd person Dark and gadget free then EA would be the best but considering what they did to From Russia With Love .....
  • Bloodstone, by a mile!

I did play the games on consoles (never played a PC Bond, and I don't know that I'd like to), and I still think Activision is doing a better job than EA did. AUF was good, NightFire was okay (good levels, but the story was crap), EoN was actually great, Rogue Agent sucked ass, FRWL was generic, TND was crap, TWINE N64 was good but the PS1 version sucked and 007 Racing was a piss poor excuse for both a driving game and a Bond game. Sure, Activision may be making COD clones, but at least the COD gameplay is successful, if repetitive.

    agreed on all points

I fear EA Casino Royale would of been horrible

The Nightfire, Everything Or Nothing and Agent Underfire gameplay was more successful because they actually felt like Bond games, you felt like Bond. Those three games blow Activisions stuff out of the water.

QOS was fun but it was a generic shooter and there was nothing Bond about it gameplay wise.

Bloodstone was a bit better, the takedowns and the driving missions were great, but even that felt like a Splinter Cell rip off at times with the mark and execute thing. And that had a terrible story.

Y'know, in EoN, I felt like Bond. In NightFire, I didn't. In Agent Under Fire, I didn't. In TND, TWINE and 007 Racing, I didn't. I sort of did in FRWL, but that was only because they brought Connery back to do the voice. In all of Activision's games, especially Blood Stone, I've felt like Bond, and that's thanks very much to the take down system. It fits Craig's Bond (which Activision is using) expertly. Plus, Activision's games have more checkpoints (a necessity that the EA games, specifically EoN, didn't have many of).

I've only played Quantum of Solace but now I feel I may pick up Bloodstone after some initial doubt (if I see it for a tenner or less, that is)

Mr senor, Bloodstone should be online for a tenner or less, shops are keeping it high due toit being a film year.
Bloodstone has been the superior acti game.
  • I guess I'm gonna be the the odd one out and vote Goldeneye (Reloaded). QOS and Bloodstone were decent though. As for EA TWINE is my favorite Bond game period. My next favorite game from EA was Nightfire (console).

EON was decent, but it was a little over the top and the guns were unrealistic. From Russia with Love is quite possibly the worst Bond game ever. Agent Under Fire was also mediocre and wins the award of most ridiculous Bond plot ever. As a general rule Eurocom makes the best Bond games, for me anyways.
