I am living in Israel and for the first time I have known about a movie has come out here BEFORE the states! Although I am only 25 I have grown up with James Bond. My father owns all of the first edition Ian Fleming books, we have all of the James Bond movies on VHS as well as DVD and even some of the original toys from the 60's and 70's. Needless to say his love of 007 is in my bones.

That being said I can say...with out a doubt, Skyfall is my favorite James Bond movie. It has everything. From raw fight scenes to some (but not too many) gadgets, well executed and not overdone homage to one of the most important characters of so many of the original Bond movies and a peek into Bond's past.

All in all, I was amazingly impressed with the new 007 movie and I hope you will be as well. And the end credits only say... "James Bond will return" which is such a great since that the British secret agent isn't going anywhere anytime soon

Glad you enjoyed the new film and welcome to MI6! :-bd

I've never understood the whole "Oh my god! The end credits have started rolling! We've got to get out of the cinema RIGHT NOW!" mentality. I always watch any movie from the first frame until the last. For me the end credits are as integral a part of the film as any other. Apart from anything else, sitting there for 5 or 10 minutes listening to the music is a great way to "wind down" emotionally after the film you've just watched, rather than hurling yourself straight back out into the cold light of reality.

Welcome @jib1288, you can also present yourself here. Feel also free to join us at the girls room (which has been strangely quiet lately).

That is EXACTLY what I think.
