Talk about overdoing a good thing. :O
Pre-ordered the blu-ray now as well so I'm tied over until March.
The slot is already made up in the Bond 50 set. Very nice as well
There are also loads of scenes - mostly action scenes - that was in the original script, that were scrapped.

Thank god for that. Thank god they had the sense to not put in any more action. I hope now that they've realised how well a Bond film can do without one action scene after another and that they've finally come to their senses and will follow this trend. I was always confident that a Bond film that focused more on characters and less on action would do well. Unfortunately it took a number of films for it to sink in for them but I'm glad they have finally got there. I just hope they follow this trend.
I've seen it 4 times and I won't see it again until it's available on DVD or avaialble on one of these free streaming websites. I didn't enjoy it quite as much the 4th time. However, I did see it 4 times within 4 weeks. :) The 4th time was one too many I think. Well, one too many times within such a short time frame.
^:)^
13 times in the cinema! Wow! The most times I've seen a Bond film, or any film for that matter in the cinema is 5 times. This was Casino Royale.
That's exactly where I am at. Looking forward to a third viewing, but it's taking so long to get around to the third time that I can't conceive of finding time for a fourth.
UNDERdoing, more like!
I honestly can't get enough of this superb film. And I can say hand on heart that I'm not just watching it over and over "because it's Bond" - something I've certainly been guilty of in the past. Back in 1995 I obviously went to the cinema to see GE. It was most definitely a case of loathe at first sight. It was so dreadful it made me cringe. So what did I do? Yep, I went to see it a further nine times. Why? Altogether now: "because it's Bond." As Brosnan's terrible tenure continued I did slowly see sense. With each film surpassing it's predecessor in eye-watering awfulness my bouts of moviegoing masochism dwindled accordingly. I saw TND about half a dozen times, TWINE three or four and the unspeakable DAD just the once. (Which was twice too often!)
My combined 49 viewings (so far!) of DC's triumphant trilogy on the big screen is most definitely a reflection of my genuine love of them... rather than 007-inspired insanity!
:P
You went to see a film you hated at first 9 times just because it was a Bond film? Did you ever think that it might make you hate it even more?
Why would anybody see a film they hated 9 times, Bond or not? If you don't like it you don't like it.
