  • @Zekidk likes a different kind of Bond film and that's fine.

Be fair now guys (and this is from somebody who liked the film), this thread was made specifically for people who were disappointed in the film so people should be able to say why they were disappointed without others jumping on their backs and arguing with them.

That's fine, but when you get a select bunch of cretins insulting fellow fans for liking Craig or the movie, it goes past honest criticism. The people who say these things are cowards hiding behind a computer screen IMHO.

    I take your point.

I would, had they actually done anything like the stuff you've been describing.
Why are you so sure that Bond missed deliberately? How exactly is it explained?

The same thing could be said about those who attack and insult fans for not liking the movie
  • Z, there are people on both sides that are guilty of that, but those I speak of are acting much worse in comparison. The vast amount of warnings I've seen from the mods are being directed to the negative crowd. Just keeping it real dude.

skyfall stunk, plain and simple. Casino Royale destroys it in every way possible. case closed. Silva was such an under-developed character we basically saw all he had to offer in the commercials alone. It was so cheesy and unrealistic when Bond was chasing Silva through the subway and London. I felt like I was watching a human interpretation of
Tom & Jerry. I rate skyfall 2⅜ out of 10. the movie was a sloppy piece of thrash. but hey whats new...mainstream culture is thrash itself, nothing today is made for the intent of quality or originality, but rather money.

@DRESSED_TO_KILL, out of curiosity, what was cheesy and unrealistic about Bond chasing Silva in the London subway?
  • Again @ DTK, you continue to use the word "dumb" in association with people who like the movie, meaning most of the people on this board and many other fans worldwide. The mods have told you about this before. I'm reporting you again and hoping this is the last insult you will be making.

@SirHenryLeeChaChing. I think DTK just proved your point ;-)

I assume that isn't sarcastic. Look, I have no issue with those who don't care for the film, to each his or her own, but I don't need to have my intelligence insulted and I'm up to here with this guy.

    DUMB DOWNED America and Europe!

I never once said anything negative directly to anybody on here.

Movies today are dumb downed, same with all modern entertainment, TV and Video Games. Nothing today requires any thinking or use of the mind. Skyfall didn't have a original story or any real artistic value. It was just a big a cliched action movie that catered to the mass population of modern culture . Stop trying to get me banned and get some higher priorities on your to-do list.

You don't even know the difference between an action film and a storyline film. SF was the latter. And just for the last statement, I will be sure to redouble my efforts to see you gone sooner than later sunshine L-)

@DRESSED_TO_KILL, 'Inception' didn't develop any thought? 'Portal 2' didn't make you think? 'Lost' didn't cause you to ponder anything?

If only people gave this must attention and priority to actual real problems in the world....

Same could be said for your ad nauseum complaints over and over. I laid out a challenge for you, I can pick apart almost every one of your complaints, care to step up?
  • Well I dunno how disappointed I was, but you can watch my review of the movie here:

How many times does one person need to say Skyfall was a complete and utter disaster?

Quite laughable considering that this is among the best received Bond movies of all time both with audiences and critics.

Silva got more backstory than Le Chiffre! All we had on Le Chiffre was a briefing from M, while we got loads more from the man himself and also M and more.

Welcome OBrady. You show that when one gives specific examples, Dressed to Kills' rantings about Skyfall crumble.

It is easy to make generalized complaints, but to deal in specifics is more difficult. So you may have a long wait.

@DRESSED_TO_KILL won't acknowledge any of our posts that point out his lack of logic in his arguments (like my Le Chiffre post) simply because he knows he is wrong and can't complain his way out of it. I just looked up pathetic on Google and it says "see @TouchMyButtons/ @DRESSED_TO_KILL"; under the definition's text.

Murdock, I must congratulate you on a very successful mission. Your powers of deduction and quick wit have served us all well. In this particular Bond thriller, you have single-handedly rumbled the previously banned villain and driven him into hiding. He has been a worthy adversary, but nobody does it better than you. No doubt he will return under another guise, but like all Bond antagonists, he us no match for the best of MI6.

Why thank you @BondBug. I feel like James Bond now. :)

We've known that both @TouchMyButtons and @DRESSED_TO_KILL are actually one and the same for months now. I've just wondered how he managed an alternate account and is still here.

I just wanted to make the evidence clear to the mods. Flagging is not working so I took drastic measures.

I believe @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 revealed it to the mods via pictures. Not sure how he's still around with:

    A.) Evidence such as that.
    B.) The same IP.
