I have done my due diligence, freeze framed and zoomed, over and over.
I conclude that it could very well be Fleming.
Beyond that I personally think that it is. It all fits.
Where there is smoke there is often fire.
The guy in the film looks like Fleming. We know Fleming was on set, hanging around the train, in what appears to be the same location, wearing the same clothes.
It does appear to all fit. A cameo would be perfectly understandable.
Another thing to consider. There doesn't seem to be discussion or ideas as to else it might be. ie oh that's such and such, he just happened to be standing there.

Of all the clever ways to have done a cameo with Fleming in FRWL, this was chosen?
Until someone really in the know confirms this, I'm not buying it.

I strongly believe that there was a second Fleming in "The Grassy Knoll"

I'm still dubious about it being Fleming,i always have been.
The structure of the face looks different to me,as does the body shape.

Surely,in 2014,there must be a way of blowing the photo up to zoom in on the figure clearly ?!

Honestly, I had never heard of this. Interesting to think about.
So no, not everyone already knows about this; even a longtime fan like me could have managed to not have heard about Fleming being in FRWL.

Never heard this before, but the guy in the film does have exactly the same outfit as Fleming appears to have been wearing that day. And the whole placement of this one man on the side of the track looks so contrived that it does make sense that it's a cameo. I heard someone say that the man in the film looks too dark, but Fleming spent half his time in Jamaica - he would have one hell of a permatan.

I have thought on this for years and years, but I don't think a conclusive answer will ever be supplied or reached. All we have is some slight evidence to aid in our conjectures.

Ian is on the set of FRWL dressed in very similar clothing to the man on film, appears to have the same long cane, and is photographed near the train and similar looking fields that the man captured on film is standing in as the locomotive rolls by. Come to your own conclusions...

The more you look, the less it appears to be him. Would be nice if it was though.
