The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

Let’s hope not! Actually, I think EVERYTHING OR NOTHING would make an excellent title.

Fabulous title. However, aside from being a video game it was also used for the 50th anniversary documentary.

I'm not entirely certain how "out of bounds" it is though. After all, it is there title to use for an actual film still.

Everything Or Nothing would certainly work. It's even got double O's for the 007 logo!

For some reason, it kind of reminds me of the sentiment behind The World is Not Enough, although I know that title is sourced from Fleming's OHMSS novel.

Remember that Goldeneye was first a Fleming biopic.

That's true. It just goes to show that these Bond titles are interchangeable.

I was reading a Richard Dawkins book and in the biography at the back was a mention of one of his older books. It was called The Blind Watchmaker. And it made me think how something like that would work, in the same way as The Taylor of Panama. Something that sounds classy, but also has meaning inside the film.

Something that makes you think, ohh, what's that about then?

There should be a number of phrases that link to Fleming’s time in Jamaica that would be stylish and suitable.

    • Risico
    • The Property of a Lady
    • Icebreaker
    • Role of Honour
    • Nobody Lives for Ever

I'd be on for most of those titles being filmed, provided they were relatively faithful top the source novel or short story (we've already had 'Risico' in the FYEO film of course so that would be an exception). 'The Property of A Lady' could probably be redone with some changes not seen in the OP film.

I'd especially like to see John Gardner's Icebreaker filmed faithfully, but knowing EON's attitude to the continuations such a film adaptation is very unlikely. EON's position on the continuations did change a little with the use of the Colonel Sun torture scene in the most recent film Spectre of course but that still stopped well short of filming a whole continuation Bond novel.

This I always thought was a very cinematic title. Such a cool title. I love the use of the word 'Devil'.
    Out Of Bullets

Not bad. But I quite like Silver Bullet

I know some barristers and they often use the term when talking about finding a killer point to destroy an argument. It just sounds cool.

It's easy to imagine Eon will, at some point, use 'Everything Or Nothing' as a title. After all, it's what Eon stands for - technically, the Broccoli family's company name is an acronym. They're unlikely to go near it as an actual Bond film title until the videogame has faded enough in public consciousness, though.
    Silver Bullet

I mooted 'Silver Nemesis' over the page (which has a nice repetition of 's' sounds) but 'Silver Bullet' is arguably more Bondian, with the gun reference. Hints at Bond 25 being Eon's 25th movie (i.e. its 'silver' movie) just as well, too, of course.

There was that Corey Haim werewolf movie called SILVER BULLET from 1985, which is what I immediately think of when that title or phrase comes to mind.

Yes. Kind of a fun '80's horror flick. I liked it.

A novella , " Cycle of the Werewolf". It was illustrated by the late, great Bernie Wrightston. This desperately need a quality remake.

Not sure if it's been brought up previously here but you know what would be a risky but bold title?

    007

Literally just that. Especially if the story indeed has
Lashana Lynch's character be the new 007 while Bond is retired in Jamaica

I already suggested that as a title here once. It'd make a good alternative title for a film version of Never Send Flowers in fact. :)

I still kinda think NEW DAWN could work.

It's a sloppy title: Every dawn is a new dawn. It is like "new tomorrow".

    I think it's taken already:

    star-wars-a-new-dawn-star-wars-rebels1.jpg?fit=308%2C446&ssl=1

Good book, poor title, not Bond material. Unless we continue the "tradition" of GE, SF, SP, ... to use titles that were already used for characters or movies before.

B25 as the name of some weapon or nerve agent. If they went for that, I would prefer something like MAGIC 44 instead.
