The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

  • Don't tell me Forever is the new can't use die, death or kill in a Bond title. So the following titles will never be used.

    The Forever Man
    The Big Kill
Escape From The Seven Shadows Of Death
    A Deal In Death
    Rendezvous Of Death
    A Clean Kill In Rome
    The Killer Of Killers
    Spies Only Die Once
    The Whispers Of Death

    Blofeld's Ballyhoo
    Spectre of Death Forever

    adding one: Die, Blofeld, Die!

OK, I give up and will stop having so much fun with titles. Waiting 2 more days is okay. :)

Well, if we were to make fun of titles, then...
You Never Live and Die Forever
    Permission To Kill
    Death To Spectre
Never Say Death Or Kill or just Never Say Die

    Thoughts, ladies and gents? :))

    The Nest of Whispers

That one is good. Sounds a bit like an old horror novel, but still...

Thanks, mate. I was thinking of something very "serious" and suspicious, referring to SPECTRE being the horror behind every anarchy. Very dark concept, you know?

Not to spoil the fun, but "Forever is Not Enough" will never be used.

If you want forever/never in there... "Life Is A Neverlasting Game"

O/T - speaking of Jason Isaacs (your avatar), I can only imagine he was not considered back in '94 because he looked 'to much' like Dalton. Always thought he'd make an excellent 007, (acting)skill & looks wise.

Agreed, he could have been a brilliant Bond, in my honest opinion. And he certainly has the Dalton vibe. It's a shame the only Bond-like performance of his was seen in The Tuxedo, and we didn't really see much of it, sadly. The "Clark Devlin" name is actually the name of the character in that film. A self-confident superspy.

I'm still going with my selection Forever's Not Enough, Beyond Tomorrow, Crossfire Beyond A Better Tomorrow, Through Smoke And Mirrors, Where Danger Lies. Brand New Tomorrow.

How about The World is Not Forever, or Tomorrow Forever Dies.

Seriously though, I think that a lot of good titles can be borrowed from the continuation novels. I can't see why some of these can not be used at some point

    Colonel Sun
    For Special Services
    Icebreaker
    Role of Honour
    No Deals, Mr. Bond
    Scorpius
    Brokenclaw
    Never Send Flowers
    COLD
    Zero Minus Ten
    The Facts of Death
    High Time to Kill
    DoubleShot
    Never Dream of Dying
    Devil May Care
    Carte Blanche
    Solo
    Silverfin
    Bloodfever
    By Royal Command

I really like these titles for any upcoming Bond movie:
    By Royal Command
    Never Send Flowers
    For Special Services
    Carte Blanche

Allthough I don't really think they will use official booktitles anymore. They will create new titles, maybe inspired by wordcombinations from the Fleming books.
  • As we are a day away from the announcement of the film's title and what I have read like Q and Monepenny who was introduced in SF Blofeld is to be introduced. I was wondering if the title will reflect Blofeld's introduction. So I have gone for titles based on what I feel represents Blofeld as a character and titles based on what I would like and what I think the title will be.

    Blofeld as a character:

Rouge Dragon (The College Of Arms and furnishes of Blofelds Coat Of Arms and office of the fictional Sable Basilisk who's title was Rouge Dragon Pursuivant)

    The SPECTRE of Death

Trigger Finger (Original Title of The Living Daylights)

The Richest Man In The World (Original Title of Gold Finger)

The Rought With The Smooth (Original Title of A View To A Kill)

    What I would like:

    Scare Of My Life

    Forever Is Not Enough

    Crossfire

    DiamondFire

    What Lies Beyond Tomorrow

What I think it will be:

    Risico

A new M, new HQ, and a revitalized Bond all suggest a title having to do with a new day and a new direction, light rather than shadows, future rather than past, movement rather than stasis.

    How about a shorter title?
