He doesn't have to be a villain you know. He could be an ally. ;)

Another bald actor. My hypothesis: another red herring.

I was thinking the same thing, much like the conclusion of Brosnan's "The Thomas Crown Affair" But, instead of Bowler Hats and umbrellas, the're using bald heads. :)

Or maybe we're just reading something into this where there's nothing to read.

My guess is that a hair-loss convention is the cover for SPECTRE's clandestine meetings.

He's in a hat shop (or coming out, more likely), probably the lady couldn't believe she had just sold a hat to James Bond!

Not so long ago, people were suggesting for Blofeld pretty much ever bald actor in Hollywood and the entire cast of Breaking Bad. It might be nothing, but it might also be that Mendes wants to tease the audience's expectations.

Or that it is a nod to the novel MR.

Actor Daniel Craig and girlfriend, Satsuki Mitchell, are swarmed by fans as they step out of the Borsalino shop after purchasing a hat. They then head off to dine at the Bolognese restaurant. Craig is in Rome to promote his latest film, "Defiance." .
:) so the shot is from 2009 in the post QoS days. I do like the Sean Connery hat he was sporting back then.
Looks like Irma Bunt in the background (red head) stalking him.

I was thinking this would be a great nod to the Moonraker novel. Very Fleming, obviously.

  • Thank you so much Marketto! Great news. I hope we get a full blown set visit and not just a small photocall like last time in Austria. I'd imagine Monica and the DB10 will be at the photocall as well and if Waltz, Baustisa and Seydoux are involved in those sequences I hope they make an appearance.

In other news, Christensen looks very creepy. Considering he has a Canada Goose jacket on can we presume this photo is from Austria? It looks like Mr WHite will have a beard in this outing. He even looks a bit like Bruce Glover in his DAF SE DVD interview

If the piece of sky above him is the crash-site swathe, what's with the bike!? The last time I have seen a bicycle in a Bond movie must have been NSNA.
